Pleasant stay, helpful staffs, but weather was not on our side
WeiLiekon 26/08/2017 22:30It's been a dreadful, non-stop rain throughout the 3 days 2 nights in Goa, scooter rental was out of the equation in this weather and there were no Uber nor Ola cab services. However the hotel staffs were kind enough to spend time looking for a car for our day trip around Old Goa. Answering each of our questions and providing excellent service to us, kudos to Sheetal btw, she had been an Angel.
Room was clean and tidy, despite the fact that multiple power trip in the day (and i think a few more at night) and lost of TV network connection due to bad weather.
Breakfast buffet is provided but please don't expect a 5-star variety, it's simple and homey though. They do have a la carte lunch and menu which I think the price is quite decent. P/s: their biryani is good.
Not the way it was..disappointing !!
WonderSpinachon 25/08/2017 09:25Have been visiting this property from the last 5 years. Visited this property recently but seemed to be a bit disappointed, For starters what used to be a quaint and serene property once dominated by mostly foreign tourists is now mostly filled with throngs of Gujarati and other noisy tourists. Naturally its quite chaotic in the small breakfast buffet area and the breakfast spread itself is nothing to talk about. If you are a seafood lover and plan to order a meal here... beware !! We called twice and were very disappointed.. The fried calamari was not fresh at all and extremely chewy, The popular goan curry just lacked the zing. The order taker told us that they were mostly serving basa fish,, phew !! Also the hotel mostly takes its customers for granted i feel.. My request for extra drinking water in the room was met with two old, cap-open bottles filled with water from somewhere.. I mean c'mon, these days even the small time 2-3 star hotels do not deny extra bottled drinking water, My request for bathroom slippers was met with a stern 'No we do not give' from the housekeeping gentleman.. I found the front office staff hostile in many ways to much of our requests were other hotels would have just gone out of the way and proved their customer service. I guess i will avoid this property in the future..
its good enough
Abinash Kon 21/08/2017 10:03its good enough for family. pleasant , comfortable, clean suites with excellent breakfast. Resort located in most happening area of goa. all near by area full of activities and restaurants for family.
Best Hotel till date..
MukeshShankeron 20/08/2017 12:15I visited Goa with my wife from Aug 15th to Aug 18th (3 nights). Booked Casa De Goa Online for 3 nights at around 5k per night. we wanted to book a simple hotel room under 5k but the Villa on Calangute Beach seemed better. CASA DE GOA was muuuuch better than expected. the Goods are..
1. Located on Calangute. 1km walk to main market and main calangute beach or a 5 min walk to Calangute beach side.
2. We arrived early at 9AM. (Checkin time was 1 PM) But we were more than happy to get the room at 9.15. unexpectedly and no extra cost..!!
3. Hotel Details :: property has 2 parts. hotel on 1 side of road with its own pool and restaurant. Other side has Villa and suites. with its own pool and Jacuzzi..!! only 8 to 10 Villa and may 10 suits so its very less crowded.
4 Villa Details :: 2 rooms. living room with sofa dinning table and a bigg TV and bedroom with bed and a bigg TV.. Amazing bathroom. with a large TUB. 2 washbasins and a shower area.! INSIDE THE VILLA EVERYTHING IS VERY MODERN. ALL LIGHTS , TV, HOUSEKEEPING ETC IS IPAD OPERATED..!! Yes.
5. Villa guest can get the complimentary breakfast in room. upto 1130 Am and unlimited quantity and good quality..
6. complimentary welcome drink fruits sweet chocolate and sandwich.. all bathroom supplies and daily room service etc
7. pool is amazing. no description needed. pics will tell the story.
8. staff is courteous. special mention of Mr Mario in charge of villa. well spoken.
9. two shops for Bike Car rent is nearby.
10. other side of property ie hotel seemed ok too. but cant comment as didnt visit much. reception is decent. hotel is more crowded as expected. restaurant is small but good.
Overall i would say that it was a great place. Villa to be selected if possible in budget. property from outside may seem old or soso but from inside its one of the best(compared to what i have seen in mumbai/delhi/singapore etc). all modern amenities in a villa and serene pool and at the heart of Goa..
Thanks to Casa De Goa.!!
Good location but property management is not considerate.
Rupesh Son 07/08/2017 08:59Front half of property is nice and at good location. Second half is Ghetto. Breakfast is limited choice and there is not even a single table for two to seat. Coffee would take 45 minutes. Now the worst part, we asked for bit of late checkout and answer was flat No. Not even consideration of any kind. Just super cold shoulder with any consideration for customers. I would pay bit more or compromise on anything else but would never consider staying. They take hospitality out of their service. Avoid !
