Great spot for a drink!
Amy Mon 15/08/2017 00:11We stopped for a quick drink while touring the island. The view is excellent and the staff was really friendly. Our bartender, Cash, gave us great recommendations for other places to eat and drink around the island.
Away from it all, very relaxing!
trlang2on 11/08/2017 21:55We stayed in the Ocean view King - very comfortable bed and bedding (slept like a baby!); very sparce room, but everything you need and the mini fridge was nice to have cold drinks in. Much bigger balcony (long and fairly deep) than I expected, "sitting area" in room was a mini, low futon-like couch.
Have never been so relaxed after four nights! Staff was very professional and helpful. Rented a golf cart overnight - highly recommend - continue on road around bend for a little sight-seeing (found a sandy beach and great shells!).
I would have rated higher if it weren't for the lack of Mexican food on-site, at the restaurant - - that's one of the BIG draws of being in Mexico for me - the food! "Gringo Tacos" on the menu = ground beef tacos! I wanted fish tacos, carnitas, pico de gallo, refried beans, enchiladas, tamales, etc. That being said, we ended up getting room service and the filet was excellent!
Another let down (for us) was the fact that you have to be 18 to be in the main pool where they have tables in the pool (because the bar is connected) - I had looked forward to meals in the pool with my teen daughter and our girls getaway. I was told this is a law for all of Mexico and they do enforce it here, especially when the "water park" is open 10-5.
Highly recommend for a romantic get-away, but there will likely be kids due to the park and there were other families staying with teen kids as well. Fire dancers one night was short, but very entertaining!
O M G!
Mary Mon 02/08/2017 03:44If you're looking for peace and tranquility, this is the best well kept secret with views to die for! The employees are genuinely happy to see you, with lovely rooms and the ocean out your door. We'll be back for more!
Perfect placd to dream away..
Arnaud Ton 29/07/2017 01:47This hotel i a little bit further on the North of the Island, they don't have much rooms but they are all spotless and the matrasses are super. You can take breakfast behind the hotel with oceanview which is a really nice place with the skyline of Cancun.
Dinner is also possible overhere but do expect higher range price class, the quality however is really good.
Roomprices are above average but you really get what you pay for, quality....
There is a jetty into the water which is really nice during the night.
There is not a really large beach but their place do offer a really good service by having, kayaks, beachbeds, hammocks amd various others.
You will get quality but look for a fair roomprice or book in advance for some discount on your roomprice.
Isla Mujeres is a really nice place but is becoming more popular and so the prices will slowly increase.
Downtown centre is really nice in the evening with various bars with live music and restaurants...
Great small hotel
Eduardo Ron 26/07/2017 17:25Casa de los Suenos is a nice small hotel. It is not close to the center, so everything you do takes 20min by golf cart to get there. there is a nice beach and a small pier.
The rooms are basic but nice. No TV!!
The restaurant is on the waterfront and it is a bit of walk down... and up. Not comfortable.
The staff is great, very accomodating and the take care of every need and booking.
Internet is free and pretty good.
