Comfortable stay
frugs33on 13/06/2013 01:53We stayed here for four nights. Our room was spacious and we hardly saw the other guests. Breakfast is pastries, cereals, yoghurt, and juice. There is a fridge and toaster oven available, so it's possible to make a small meal. It is easy to get to from the airport and a 10min walk to Bologna metro. It was nice to stay in a non touristy area. A good deal for Rome.
Things were going wrong but pleasantly surprised
Omar Hon 24/05/2013 12:25Like other reviewers said there aren't any clear signs that that place exists from outside. They had emailed me a week before my arrival to ask about the arrival time and I informed them. I arrived on time to find no one is answering the door buzzer. I made my way up (the front gate was left open) and found the flat number, no one is opening the door! I started to get a bit suspicious of what is happening. I phone up the number on the email and someone who doesn't speak English gave me another number to call. I phoned up the new number and an apologetic Flavio answered and said he'll be there in 20 minutes. He came in 15 minutes and managed to clear my anger by his friendliness and kindness. I had the whole place to myself the first night, felt a bit weird but somehow exciting. The flat is very old fashioned which makes it more interesting. Breakfast is quite basic but it is good.
He was very flexible with me regarding when to pay and I kept the keys later on my departure day to pick up my bags. If you're not looking for luxury, stay in this place. It's very convenient and cheap compared to Rome prices.

Khatargon 25/09/2012 01:24This was our first time in Rome, it was a bit tricky to find because it is located in a residential area but there are two nearby metro / bus stations either BOLOGNA or TIBURTINA. Nearby there is an excellent geletaria, small shops where you may buy the basics and food, and there is even some restaurants, if you are willing to walk there are good restaurants to be found between the hotel and BOLOGNA station. The apartment is very clean and organized, the room was spacious, the breakfast very convenient, there is really nothing wrong to be said, great stay, great city... Linda was very helpful and nice to us. I am defenetly coming back when visiting the eternal city.

Nord24on 05/06/2012 11:26It is more like a famliy hotel , master are perpare all of things what you may need . you could find the feeling of taking care . Just do not have slipper there .
great budget room for Rome
oobleckclydeon 21/06/2011 20:59The place isn't spectacular, but the host was very friendly and helpful (including arranging for us to have our room at 8 am!) Great value for Rome, if you're willing to spend a few extra minutes on the metro. The rooms are in an apt building, and they are not marked in any way! In the elevator, push floor 3 and then ring the bell of the first door on the left.
