Great location.
ceecee14on 05/05/2017 13:04Stayed here for 2 nights. Place was nice and perfect location. Minor things to mention. I thought bed was very uncomfortable due to fact mattress was too hard. We were in the room outside the entrance and you heard everyone that came and left. Walls thin. Also, one of our walls abutted a restaurant kitchen. Heard everything going on till 11 pm when the closed. If I were in a different room, might have given it a 5. Breakfast was very good. Overall I would stay here again. Loved walking out front door to all restaurants and shops. 10 minutes to waterfront restaurants.
Great little place
Greenfamontouron 10/04/2017 11:37We stayed at Casa Dominova for 2 nights during a friend's wedding in Sorrento. On arrival the staff were very helpful and explained about the room, breakfast and the local area. Our room was a fair size and everything was all ready to go. Cot bed made up etc. As with all accommodation of this price and location in Italy the look and feel is dated but everything works well and and practical.
The shower worked well but takes time to get to your desired temperature. Tea and coffee facilities were also in the room.
The breakfast is a continental buffet with plenty of choice, fruit, cakes, cereals it's all there. We sat outside in the courtyard under orange and lemon trees, a lovely safe environment.
The location is superb, straight out into the centre of Sorrento's hustle and bustle streets you can't get closer.
I would mention that if hiring a car, there is no parking available at the hotel, a safe car park is a 10min walk away at the cost of €15-25 per night.
Loved it! Would go back!
dweinberg5on 09/01/2017 13:45Great staff in an awesome location of Sorrento. Very affordable and room was clean and cozy. Wifi works very well. Spacious for what you pay for, and beds are comfortable. I would definitely come back here.
MAY HAVE DONE BETTER
Mike Mon 05/10/2016 03:46Casa Dominova B&B was a reasonable location for Sorrento.
A lift needed to be taken from the Port and swimming area to the Street Level close to the B&B location, although this cost 1 Euro for each person - going up AND 1 Euro going down!!
The accommodation was very dated. The furniture had a previous life in a smokers residence as it smelt of stale cigarettes. The Service persons tried in vane to remove the smell when asked.
AC was adequate however the rooms above us were quite noisy as we could hear furniture being moved and knives and forks being dropped until midnight.
The bathroom was below average - very small and badly lit - although did the job with plenty of hot water.
Breakfast was Continental and quite adequate in a nice little treed courtyard on the ground floor.
The Reception/Service people were helpful and tried very hard.
The location was very good as it was close to great shopping and plenty of restaurants. I would not write it off - however I would ask to see the room before deciding to spend time here.
Very convenient with a friendly atmosphere
Mark Kon 30/09/2016 09:59Casa Dominova is a comfortable b&b right in the very heart of Sorrento. It is amongst shops and restaurants and a few metres from a truly outstanding viewpoint over the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. We felt personally catered for in everything they did. The room was spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast in the garden every day, when we met and talked with a variety of charming guests from all over the world. Very strongly recommended.
