PrinceAlfredon 19/06/2017 01:43This hotel surpassed any expectations we had for it. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and everybody went out of their way to help us. Parking is free, and we took the bus because it passed right outside the hotel, which saved us from driving and paying expensive parking in downtown Florence. This hotel is so quaint and it's run by a super friendly family.
Solid low-budget option
Adamanta_PLon 21/02/2017 15:53The place is surreal in a sense, a lot of rooms, with a beautiful small chapel inside, precious books in common spaces. Run by a very friendly family. Very clean with a little run-down furniture. I recommend for an excellent location (le Cure, walking distance to the centre or a short bus trip), inside parking (!) and good relationship quality-price.
Owners couldn't do enough, it was perfect for us
AlanaWendyon 31/10/2016 18:14We booked the hotel because it was a good price and included parking, although it is slightly out of the main centre for attractions. The main building is lovely, and the communal areas have an antique feel. The room itself was more modern but still comfortable and clean and the bathroom was a good size.
The room did not have a safe and so make sure you bring a padlock or something if you want to keep valuables safe. Also no option to make a cup of tea, there is a hot drink machine down stairs but they didn’t have any available (I need tea to function, lol)
The owners were really accommodating, highlighting areas on the map and making dinner recommendations, a local steak place was AMAZING!!
It’s around a 20 minute walk to the academia and a further 10 minutes to the Duomo and central Florence, so you need to bear this in mind if you can’t walk that far. There are bus stops located closer and they will inform you of the bus numbers you need to get to which places.
If you are walking then you need to use the subways which can be a little disconcerting but we didn’t have any issues, when we walked home on Saturday night they appeared to be using the subway for a party but the only issue was that we didn’t invited along for the party :P
On check out they allowed us to leave the car in the car park while we took a morning adventure back into the centre, any request didn’t seem to problematic and they were happy to help out.
Satisfactory in fairly good location
444Jackie444on 07/10/2016 20:22A beautiful old house but they have not made the most of it. The room was very clean and the bathroom modern and clean. However the room was a bit bare and the single beds were narrow and very very firm. About a half hour walk to the old city. In summary, a satisfactory place to stay for the price.

guillote4552on 04/10/2016 22:06Good service and reasonable fare. At 10 minutes from santa Novella train station by bus and 20 by foot to every tourist place. Quiet place. Great parking. No elevator nor breakfast. If you book directly will get better fares.
