Room and linens were clean. Location was good because ayala center is just 5 minutes away by taxi. Food was great and service was fine. Downside of this hotel is that rooms are very limited. More visible signages on the road would be great.

The room is clean, with a great location. very very affordable with good breakfast. superb friendly staff. always try don merto's cafe equally great ambience and great food. I would definitely come back Casa "Homey" escano

Bringing in some friends to Cebu is so wonderful.They can stay and dine in one place that everything makes them special. It is a quiet place in the uptown where every traveler can sleep and rest well during the night. It is a walking distance to some sights. The food is awesome.The restaurant served different cuisines.

If you want stay silent place and simple ,but rooms are very good ,only waters is less pressure.breakfast is ok .you can walk to ayalamall and robinson mall near place.from airport to hotel about 300 pesos,

We went to "Don Merto's Restaurant" for dinner and we cannot complain: the "Gambas al Ajillo" were perfect, just enough garlic, not too oily, and together with the "Garlic French fries" it was a real treat for the tongue. The "Garlic and Herbs Dory" and the "Pork(chop) and Beans", accompanied by a nice "Caesar Salad" were great and the "New York cheesecake" and the Chocolate cake covered with warm chocolate, a perfect dessert. All served by very friendly and helpful staff-members.Only one minus: as in the most Philippine restaurants the red wine (a cabernet-sauvignon) was unnecessarily chilled. Prices are moderate: including two wines of P150,00 each) and the other drinks, we paid P1.770 for the 12 "items".
As Casa Escano is a "bed & breakfast" we asked alsof we could see a room and we were at once invited to inspect a double room and a 'family' room. Both rooms were very spacious, very clean and with a really "XXXL" bathroom. Room and breakfast (choice between continental, american or Philippino breakfast, coffee or tea included) is P1.950,00 for a 2 persons-room or P2.950,00 for the 4-persons-room. Minus-point is that the televisions in both rooms we saw were still the old styled cathode tube units. All in all to recommend.
