A Wonderful Place

We spent eight days at the Casa Escondida, Belinda is an attentive, dedicated host. Her breakfasts were carefully planned and wonderful, she was helpful and responsive and warm, above and beyond expectations. The rooms were clean, comfortable and atmospheric, and Chimayo is centrally located between Santa Fe, Taos and some wonderful monuments, parks and sites - Georgia O'Keefe's studio, the Bandalier Monument, Santa Fe's restaurants and museums. Some of the rooms are small, and if you want something roomier - chairs and a table - you might want to ask. The town of Chimayo is wonderful and Belinda knows everyone in it. Our room was small but quite comfortable for the two of us. Sweet atmosphere. This is a great place to stay in New Mexico. I would recommend it without reservation, and we plan to go back and stay often. Belinda is just great, she pays attention to every detail of her cozy little inn. (Apple users, the Wi-Fi only seems to work in her living room, At&T reception is poor, but the living room works fine, and it's a nice place to sit, as are the outdoor patio tables. Great place, wonderful setting.

Charming B&B in Gorgeous Setting

Absolutely wonderful B&B in Chimayo! The setting is gorgeous, the rooms were charming and there were many amenities that added to the overall experience. Loved the multiple bird feeders located on the property! I've never seen so many hummingbirds! Breakfast was outstanding! Looking forward to a return visit!

We stayed in Chimayo for one night during a 3 week / 10 state, coast to coast road trip. The town, and this BnB were one of the highlights of our trip. Beautiful place. Amazing surroundings. Friendly staff. Great food. Everything is thought of for the guests. Will certainly be visiting Chimayo and Casa Escondida again in the future.

Charming b&b in New Mexico Adobe style. Quaint rooms with attention to detail. Bathrobes in rooms. Great breakfast and wonderful, friendly host and staff. We opt for a/c rooms, but in cooler weather other rooms would be lovely, too, and cheaper. Love the patio out back where you can watch the birds coming into the feeders.

A Stay You Will Remember

I stayed for two consecutive nights in early August, 2017. Casa Escondida Bed and Breakfast is a unique experience that I will remember. The rooms are in excellent condition. I don't think that all of the rooms have an AC or a mini refrigerator. You may want to inquire about your particular choice for a room. The staff is genuinely friendly and very helpful.

I stayed in one of the upstairs room that has a balcony. Breakfast was much better than the typical "Continental Breakfast". The quality of the Wifi connection that was available was more than adequate (If you stay in one of the free standing rooms you might want to bring an external Wifi adapter for your laptop for better range). The bed was quite comfortable.

There is an awesome New Mexico style restaurant, the Rancho De Chimayo in Chimayo, NM, about 1.6 miles away. You have to try it. If you are on a business trip and need to print documents, a printer is available. You might need to email the documents to yourself, since all the ports on the available laptop that is connected to the printer are used for various connections.
