Fantastic boutique hotel
Bronagh Won 24/08/2016 11:32Beautiful hotel. Decorated tastefully with some lovely antiques. A calm oasis in the centre of Jerez de la Frontera. Very comfortable room with plenty of space. Great roof terrace with sun loungers and some shade. Breakfast was fresh and homemade with lots of choice and plenty of fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. There were lovely common areas to sit and read. Daily newspapers and guide books were provided as well as music CDs and games.
Avoid !!! Go to the Hampton , anywhere, even a tent is better, cheaper and much better
Citygirl5000on 21/09/2014 04:44This hotel belongs in the 1970's as it has not been updated since. We were evacuated from Cabo after the hurricane and could not get a flight out to LA same day. I called the Hampton 5 mins away and got a double room with breakfast and wifi for $71 us. Our friends said let's look at the airport hotel it nearer. It was awful. First Manager said not sure we have any rooms ?? It was more empty than if an atomic bomb had dropped on it. Only people in there were around 30 armed police with machine guns... Really relaxing hotel. Shown a room as it was awful, nylon 1970's bedspread, 1980's tv. It felt really intimidating. Like people would break in your room when you were in.
We declined room and got a taxi to Hampton Inn, great relief . It was the right decision. We had a great night at chilis next door, free breakfast and free 5 mins shuttle to airport. Do not stay here unless all other hotels in city are full.
I've stayed in better Motorist Hotels
Mau Con 11/09/2014 02:24The staff is rude, the hotel is old, the beds are terrible. It has a privileged position, inside the airport, which I think gives them the position to not do anything at all to get better. Please avoid it.
Convenient but needs updating!
NIck Pon 27/07/2014 23:10This hotel needs some help. Guadalajara airport is going through major renovations and then to have an airport hotel that is below standards just doesn't make sense. The biggest plus, of course, is location. We also found the staff to be helpful and courteous. However, that's about where it stops. The room was clean but felt dingy. The big picture window had not been cleaned inside or out, for a very long time. The pillows were of substandard quality, the bedding and curtains were from the 80's. The carpet definitely needed replacing. The towels were worn and frayed at the edges. The air conditioning functioned, but was pretty noisy. The lobby was decorated with furniture more suited for someone's living room than for a hotel. It wasn't inviting at all and not what you would expect for a hotel. After spending 22 hours on a plane, it was sufficient. However, it may be worth a cab ride to another more pleasant hotel in the same price range.
May be convenient but it's really bad
Cesar Con 08/07/2014 15:25Convenient, right next door to the airport, rude personnel, costly, horrible outdated rooms. It is sad to see how such a nice location is wasted by poor management and service. There may be other options a few miles away from the airport that I'm sure are way worth your business.
