A real gem

For a solo, female traveller on a 5 day visit to St Petersburg there couldn't be a better place to stay than Casa Leto. It's a 10 minute walk from the Hermitage, 3 minutes from St Isaac's and there are 24 hour general stores, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. From the time I booked the staff of Casa Leto were prompt and helpful in replying to my queries. After the first day sightseeing I returned to the hotel to be greeted with ' Would you like a tea or coffee?' And it always comes with biscuits. My room, one of five in the hotel, was large, clean and comfortable and there's 24 hour reception. While breakfasts don't vary, there's adequate variety in the menu and it's freshly prepared and set me up well for sightseeing.I especially appreciated the hotel organising my letter of introduction for the Russian Consulate so I could get my visa. This was at minimum cost, which I paid with my final bill. The hotel will also organise taxis which, again, go on to your bill so there's not the fear of getting in with a shyster. It's this attention to small but important detail which made me feel comfortable and secure.

Casa Leto is an apartment with 5 rooms that are very ample, confortable, clean, with big and modern bathrooms. Staff is very friendly, courteous, and with knowledge of tourist atractions in the city. The hotel is located in the cental part of Saint Petersburg, two blocs from Saint Isaac's cathedral. Only complaint is the entrance, no elevator, you need to carry your luggage one floor but stairs are ample.

Our family, with two small children under 6 had a great stay here. The room was very large and comfortable. The staff were so helpful with arranging tickets and taxis. Staying here feels as homey as using Airbnb with the added service of a hotel. Easy walking to many sights. Breakfast was simple and perfect for the whole family. Highly recommend!

Lovely small hotel

The Casa Leto is in a great location for exploring the city - an easy walk to the Hermitage and other sites. Staff were really welcoming and very helpful, booking restaurants and taxis, letting one restaurant know it was our wedding anniversary so we got special treatment. We did have some trouble with the water pressure which made the shower rather inadequate and this is the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars. However even that feels mean because the staff tried hard to sort it out and were so delightful I want to recommend them wholeheartedly.

Stayed here this week with my friend her mum and her aunt. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely staff late at night and offered tea and coffee, after a long days travelling it was perfect! Breakfast in the mornings was lovely, eggs, porridge, toast, croisants, yogurt, cereals and muesli, really everything we needed. The hotel is small with only 5 rooms and felt more like a really charming b&b. For us this added to our experience as the staff were so attentive. The hotel is clean and we even loved the heated floors in the bathroom! The hotel is perfectly located and within very easy walking distance to the hermitage and st isaacs. Perfect place for friends/family looking for somewhere quiet and central to explore st petersburg.
