Beautiful place, very nice clean rooms, friendly staff.
Just a few 100 m to the beautiful beach perfect for water activities.
Been around here before, but this is a place we can recommend, and we will definately return to the same hotel if Porto Pollo is the destination.

i_ward102on 19/09/2015 16:00Situated on the hillside overlooking Porto pollo bay casa murina is a real gem! Each room is artistically themed and beautifully furnished. Most of them seem to have sea views( ours from our bed!) . The hotel is spotlessly clean and the proprietors and staff are so friendly and make you feel truly at home. Breakfast is served as an extra , on the terrace balcony. It was a joy! ( just ask for your meat, cheese or eggs as they are kept fresh in the kitchen.
We had the most fantastic stay and would love to return!

Fantastic location with great views! The room is comfortable, clean and well furnished and has good wifi connection. The owners and staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The owners speak good English. I strongly recommend!
Outstanding Hotel
Keith Son 21/08/2015 19:16We stayed at Casa Murina in late May/ Early June 2015. We found the hotel really outstanding. The owner and her husband were helpfulness personified. I speak almost no French, but the owner spoke excellent Engish which made our stay much easier.
The room was beautifully decorated, the breakfast excellent.
We hope to return in the Autumn.
A special hotel!
copshamon 11/06/2015 07:58We stayed three nights in Casa Murina and had a great time. Our room was well furnished, very comfortable, looking over the sea. The bed was very comfortable and there was a separate shower and separate toilet. The breakfast was delicious with breads, meats, cheeses, fruits etc using organic and local produce.
Casa Murina is two minutes walk to the sandy beach and the beachside restaurants, in a peaceful setting.. The owners were very welcoming and had a great deal of knowledge about Corsican history and antiquities on the island and it was a pleasure to learn from them. The hotel is near to many restaurants with good quality food. There are many lovely local walks and the hotel is a short drive to Filitosa, an interesting prehistoric site.
We were there at the end of May which is a beautiful time in Corsica, fields full of wild flowers, the weather sunny and warm but not hot and not at all crowded. Would definitely recommend a stay at Casa Murina, especially in May.
