Isabella8on 19/05/2017 12:19We stayed here for 2 nights in May. Wonderful decor. Absolutely spotless. Beautiful rooms and gorgeous location. The only trouble we had was parking. Because it was a Sunday it was really busy so we had to drive round a bit to find a space as you can't park at the property. Most of the parking is free. The train station is 5 minutes away. The owner also has a restaurant below the accommodation and we enjoyed a wonderful meal by the canal. Excellent food and wine.

Maurizio is a class above. He's a hard working, attention to details man with some real charm and zest, that ensures perfection of stay for his guests. He is also a great restauranteur who owns a couple of restaurants that are simply superb. We ate in both and it was lovely and delicious - the owner is fastidious about using absolutely the best ingredients, with elegant or sazzy service depending on the restaurant (the Dodici or the Pizzeria respectively).
The breakfasts were delightful and served with a panache and splendor that only Maurizio can do.
The decor and artworks throughout the bedrooms and common areas will appeal to all the aesthetic seekers. The place is quite stunning, tasteful and artistic - a real pleasure on the heart and soul - your spirit is in a good place at Dodici,
& not to forget the lovely music that plays in the background at breakfast time.
Understated elegance really quite eclectic - a significant palace for the soul. The stay was truly special for us and we will return.

meg716on 01/09/2015 22:15Excellent place - location, design , service - really a great experience. I do recommend also the restaurant in the place - really great diner! We had a family suit in the attic , 2 + 2, and it was really very nice. Maurizio serves the breakfast in a nice living/dinning room at one big table for all the guests - a nice start of the day. I asked for a gluten-free bread and Maurizio bought it for me immediatelly - it was no rpoblem for him. I do recommend this place very much.

Yes Venice is beautiful, but Cesenatico can set its foot next to it from a sheer beauty perspective and probably even better as next to the romantic scene it also offers great beaches for those who now and then want to enjoy a dip in the sea and a stretcher to read a good book. It's a place that simply makes you feel wholesome and alive. And if you know that going to Cesenatico means staying at Casa12 with Maurizio and Rossella, then you know that stress will be a far distant bad memory. Oh, did I already mention that they have the best gelato in the whole world there, wherever you buy it (but our favorite is La Latteria del Gelato, that's where I take my extra kilos to take back home).
