Outstanding welcome

On a trekking holiday and after a very long day including a soaking checked in late - the welcome was outstanding

Rooms were immaculate and very comfortable and would not have been out of place in a top resort. A delicious and varied supper satisfied all tastes including local specialities - served with delightful and friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble - the lady of the house even offered to dry our clothes and organised a local taxi service due to a change in plan caused by weather.

Fully recommended.

Mountain room with a difference

A little hard to find at first before discovering our car had gps....but that can be part of the experience having to ask locals without the language....found the hotel unique and really nicely fitted out nearly all with timber and lovely bathroom....enjoyed a terrific dinner with small crowd ....enjoyed chef's suggestions for local produce helps to make you feel your presence has some value...this could well be the best place in the valley

Nice food, not expensive, but good, in a familyhotel kind of setting. Please make a reservation before you drive 3 km up the hill in Riva Valdobbia. This experience I wroite especially for the english people I met in 3 albergi liberi from Elena also in Riva Valdobbia. That cab also be recommended.
