Great Casa and location, shame about the noise.
Jos Lon 16/08/2016 21:19Spent a week in one of the apartments near the sea. The house was great, especially the garden. Beach was quiet and clean and the staff is very helpfull and friendly and speaks english. Rather disapointing was the noise of the fanatic animation teams of the surrounding camping sites. Music, shouting and karaoke started around 4 noon and went on beyond midnight. A real pity, House was well equipped, beds, bathroom all fine. Mattinata and Gargano are worth another visit. But if you like peace and quite this is not the place to be.
Wonderful place for the family holidays!
kartushinaon 20/10/2014 12:41We have had one month holidays in these apartments in September 2014. My family and family of my brother, both with 1 year children, looked for the peaceful and calm place – and found it here ). I ordered 3-bedroom apartments and my brother rented a studio – but he was upgraded to 2 bedrooms app, in order to live all together) thank to Antonio)))
Clean and renovated rooms, fully equipped kitchens, children playground, barbeque place, beach in 150 m distance. Small supermarket was only 300 m away, and actually Mattinata is reachable by foot - 25 minutes’ walk with child trolley. Nice restaurant Tio Pepe is almost opposite the apartments. But, of course, it is better to have a car, if you would like to visit Monte San Angelo and other lovely places in Puglia. Be aware of mosquitoes! A lot of these small vampires attacked us even within a day time – so take your repellents.
Particularly I would like to thank Antonio, owner of this place – for his kind help and understanding of our problems, as well as for the organization of our transfer.
Would strongly recommend this place for family holidays!
All you need in Mattinata in the beautiful Gargano,Puglia
Dolcedebon 18/10/2014 20:58We were lucky to find Case Vacanze L'Uliveto in the charming seaside town of Mattinata.
The owner Antonio was extremely helpful and professional. He has several rentals, some just steps away from a long, beautiful beach.
We rented a small house surrounded by fig and olive trees, Our neighbors were lovely people and the family patriarch, ninety year old Libero, even gave us a bottle of his own special extra virgin olive oil. What a treat!
There was also a great restaurant Tio Pepe just a short walk away with specialities like orrechiette Mattinata, in a delicious fresh tomato sauce.
We had a wonderful vacation, enriching in every way. Thanks again to Antonio and his staff!

Arges78on 01/09/2014 21:17I spent 10 days with my family (child 5 years old). The home was practicly next to the sea less that 50 meter away from the seaside. Home under olive trees, parking place quite location far feom the road and rumors. With in a short drive there was the small city Mattinata with bar restaurants market etc. Witj in 1 h of drive u can find different attaction like Montesant angelo or Vieste or San Giovani Rotondo. Perfect location for children and quite holidays. Consider the rocky beach but nice sea and a lot of free beach. Helpfull staff and dont forget to ask them for genuine olive oil.
Relaxing vacation on the sea
andt3on 28/07/2014 22:36The "Case Vacanze L'Uliveto" rents multiple locations in Mattinata. We were
hosted in the "Residence L'Uliveto," a recently built construction that
comprise ~6 small apartments on the lower part of the "Piana di Mattinata,"
close to the road to Vieste. Our apartment had all what we needed for a
relaxing one-week vacation on the see. It was cozy, conveniently located ~ 150 -
200m from the sea shore, and within walking distance to a small market and
several restaurants.
Our fare didn't include neither the rent of sun decks nor sun umbrella, but
instead of renting them from one of the many "Lidi" on Mattinata's beach, we
just opted for lying on the public parts of Mattinata's beach, and visit
instead some of the beautiful beaches in the surrounding of Mattinata.
Having a car there definitely simplified our vacation. The bus services don't
run too often, and a car comes handy for grocery-shopping or for small
excursions in the surrounding areas.
