Historic Imposing Hotel

This lovely hotel is situated in El Pito on the outskirts of Cudillero. It has a secluded garden and plenty of secure parking. Beautifully presented and well maintained. I would recommend the rooms with a separate lounge area. The hotel has quiet sitting rooms and a dining room. The breakfast was excellent with many homemade items. There are two good walkable restaurants and plenty of others in the port area. I would recommend driving there via the N632 and CU3 as the road into the port via the town is very narrow. The lady owners are charming and all the staff are so very helpful. In fact my wife tripped and broke a bone in her hand and all the staff were wonderful arranging visits to a local doctor and hospital. Fantastic service !!!!
Grand building quiet and friendly.

Friendly and warm welcome.
Chose a double room with a small lounge - good value for money - and small balcony.
Lovely lounge for drinks - great gin and tonics.
15 mins walk into town down steep steps but pretty route - couple of mins back in a taxi.
Helpful recommendations for dinner - plenty of choice.
Pampering Stay in Asturias

This house is and old "Casa de Indianos" with a great taste in decoration and amenities, you will be welcomed by three amazing old-style ladies that own the place and you will get a very cozy and personalized room that makes you forget that you are in a hotel. The breakfast is the “dream” breakfast on your family’s home, delicious cakes, hams, omelets, and good coffee to start your day in Cudillero.
These ladies will not let you go out without giving you a very detailed advice of things to do and visit in the region. This Spanish family feeling stay make you relax and see the time pass at their living room and just chill out in this classic Spanish hospitality.
It is an amazing place just to relax and walk the hill down to Cudillero and come back home, or go and discover Asturias in a 3 or 4 days trip from here as a center point.

We stayed here for 3 nights in August and had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel itself is full of character and has an elegant shared lounge and dining area. The room was clean and nicely decorated, and it was a bonus to have a bath as well as a shower. There is air con in the rooms that is controlled centrally but there was a large window that we left open at night to keep us cool. Breakfast costs 9.5 euros but was very tasty and filling. As well as the usual breakfast foods eggs could be fried or scrambled to order. The ladies who ran the hotel were very friendly, explaining how to walk down to the town and local places to eat. El Pescado was a particularly nice restaurant, about 800m away, serving large portions. We ordered a normal salad and a cod main meal between us and pudding to share, this was more than enough! The waitress didn't speak English but we managed to order successfully! The hotel is in a convenient location and it is a 15 minute walk from the hotel down some steps when visiting the town ,it takes about 30mins to walk back! A great find and good value for money.
Stylish hotel a 20 minute walk from the picturesque fishing port of Cudillero

We stayed in an apartment in the grounds which provided enough space for a family of 4 with the sofa bed made up for the kids. The main hotel is in an Indianos house which has been tastefully renovated and furnished. The agapanthus and hydrangea were in full bloom in the well-kept gardens surrounding the house during our stay in late July. There was a good selection of savoury and sweet dishes for breakfast as well as freshly cooked eggs of your choice.
You will need to take a torch or a smartphone with a built-in light if you plan to walk to and back from Cudillero in the evening as the footpath down the hill is not lit. We ate at El Faro and Bar Julio on consecutive evenings, both of which were recommended by Monika at the hotel, & both were excellent.
One minor drawback remarked on by my wife and daughter was the lack of a mirrors in the bedroom of the apartment, consequently they had to share the only one in the bathroom.
Overall, this attractive, small hotel makes a good base for visiting Cordillero and has the added advantage over those in the port itself of abundent spaces for parking the hire car.
