I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel stands facing a quiet square (Amor de Dios), where you can take breakfast, lunch or grab the glass of wine.
The hotel is super clean and very convenient to all parts of Seville,The main attractions in Seville are 10-15 min walk from the hotel and 15 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas (EA) bus station for the airport bus
Room (twin) is decent size, comfortable and clean, but window opens out on to the internal corridor (spanish style)
The staff is very friendly but speaks absolutely NO english!
Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.
Great Hotel, Perfect Location

Casona San Andres is perfectly located for walking through modern pedestrian streets with easy access to tourist attractions in the heart of old Seville. Staff was very helpful and our room was very clean. The rooms and common areas are small but very nice. Our room overlooked a busy plaza that was full of life!
Fantastic Experience

This is a great little hotel. The room was cozy and nicely decorated. We needed a triple room and the third bed was a comfy futon instead of the usual rollaway cot or mattress on the floor! Jesus, at the front desk, was also extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to help us schedule a last minute walking tour when our tour was cancelled unexpectedly.
Good value, good location place.

Stayed here on a 5 day visit with 78 year old parent. Location was good - 15 minute walk from the bus station, walking distance to the central sights, Avenida de Hercules a short walk away for evening food and watching the world go by. Two cafes in the square offer a basic breakfast and meals during the day. Room with balcony, not overlooking the square as expected - view only of rooftops but large enough for table and chairs had it not been too hot to sit out. The only downside was I'd asked for a twin but was given a double. Comfortable bed and we both slept through the church bells whichever weren't an issue. Reasonable size room, very clean, good powerful shower with hot water regardless of time of day. Good wifi reception in the bedroom. A few minor maintenance issues such as a cracked window, but it didn't affect our stay. The air conditioning took a bit of playing with to get going but worked adequately once on. No kettle but a paid coffee machine to buy drinks in reception although I didn't use it. Very very helpful day and night staff - their English was limited but so is my Spanish and you couldn't fault their enthusiasm despite the long shifts they worked. We got by with a lot of sign language and scribbling on maps. They were happy to order taxis and let us leave luggage after checkout time. There is a communal fridge you can access to store drinks etc if you wish. For a basic but good value place to stay I would stay again in the room I was given if I were to visit Seville again.
Well located Hotel

We spent 5 nights at the Casona de San Andres and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The building is one of several old buildings around a small church plaza. We had a 2nd floor balcony room overlooking the plaza, which I would recommend. Although the balcony was very small at least you could open the doors and enjoy the view over the plaza. Other rooms face inwards to the internal atrium which I would have found claustrophobic.
The room was clean and like the hotel itself it was traditionally decorated with darkly stained wood. There was a reasonable sized wardrobe and room safe. The room was surprisingly quiet and the church bells did not ring until 9a.m. Main criticism was that wifi reception in the room came and went. I found myself going to the atrium for a better reception on occasions.
Reception spoke very limited English and we have very little Spanish, but staff tried their best to help and were very friendly. There is no restaurant, only vending machines, however in the plaza were 2 good cafes for meals. Within 5 minutes walk were numerous other coffee shops and restaurants, so the lack of eating facilities were not an issue.
The hotel is at the northern end of the old town, in a less touristy area just a couple of hundred metres from the main shopping streets. Prices in cafes and bars were much cheaper than the cathedral area, catering for locals as well as tourists. Seville is not large and the main sites are within walking distance for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. I have a bad knee at the moment and did not once use transport except for to and from the airport.
In summary a well located and good value hotel if you stay in a balcony room.
