Just make sure of all what's included in your package since for us their was wine/olive oil tasting (we found out later since we had many different bookings in Italy so couldn't remember when we checked in) and they didn't mention anything for some reason so we missed it :(

The ground were beautiful... grass for the kids to run and the moat pool was refreshing... complimentary bottle of wine to top! Be careful on the drive in.... going faster that 10k/hr will bottom you out on the road going up and down... and if you stay in the tower room... pack light... 5 steep flights of stair before the reward of your room
A little gem tucked away in tuscany
sdthornberryon 24/07/2017 13:39Castello di Tornano is an amazing place to stay! The accommodations, the wine, the food and the scenery are not to be missed. We swam in the moat that has been turned into a swimming pool, eat amazing food while looking at stunning views and had wonderful time learning to cook with their chef Anna. Definitely worth adding to your trip. we came with teenage children and everyone had a great time!
An oasis of peacefulness and joy between busy Firenze and Siena
joelwelchon 15/07/2017 18:27I stayed two nights as part of an extended stay in central and northern Italy. It is a lovely property with distintive rooms, a very nice and refreshing pool, great food and wine and an incredibly attentive and charming staff. I cannot think of one thing that was wrong with this stay.....just perfect. There are things to do in the countryside or if you prefer to branch out and dine outside the property, the staff is happy to arrange that for you. What I liked the most was the choice to dine outside or in....it is normally quite hot in Tuscany in July and this was no exception. However, its location on the top of a hill gave us adequate breezes to make any time I dined and lovely al fresco experience.
I would be remiss though if I didn't cite the staff. They were easy, informative polite and cheerful; the chef was outstanding and the wait staff was perfect and charming. There is one individual I must cite by name....Loredana....was delightful. Helpful, fun, charming and witty, she handled the wine tasting with ease and insightful knowledge of her wines and grappas. She was a true gem!

Beautiful, tranquil, in the heart of Chianti
Bonnie Son 11/07/2017 21:41We stayed here for four nights in July and were sorry to leave. The hotel was repurposed from an old castle and the grounds include a winery and vineyard. Beautiful, romantic place. The food from the restaurant was delicious traditional Tuscan cuisine and the service was professional and friendly. Nice location close to cute villages and many other wineries.
