We had to find another place to stay
susiegroves1on 20/04/2017 05:40We checked in for the weekend. The front desk clerk was super nice and so accommodating. However, our room smelled like stale smoke. The room also had dirty carpet and some of the ceiling tiles were missing in the hallway. We had 3 children and needed to find another place for the weekend. The front desk clerk was very understanding and accommodating.
Overall not the best
George Lon 10/04/2017 23:42Showed up to check in and our room was given away to someone else, then they were going to put us in a room where the employee said that it smelled of cigarettes so they had to find another room. After waiting they gave us a room that smelled like an ashtray! Blow dryer did mot work and the carpet was so dirty we didn't take our shoes off until we were on the beds. Never again!

krazyray42on 15/02/2017 20:43I came in for a quick weekend for and event at the world congress center. I was looking for something inexpensive, offered breakfast, and was in walking distance of the center. this hotel had all of those items, so I booked to stay there. I was not expecting anything out of this world on the strength that it was way more expensive then, lets say, the Hilton, Embassy Suites, Omni, etc.
The front desk whom I came across where pleasant and always took care of any needs that I needed. It is a small lobby area but decorated nicely with a seating area. there is also an area to sit outside in like a little garden.
My room was very average. One of those places where you carefully look over the bedsheets and towels just to make sure! but everything checked out ok. there was a mini refrigerator and microwave which was another plus I was looking for. Just the basics, no frills, bed was comfortable enough to sleep on. so altogether not much complaints because I knew the kind of place that it was.
Breakfast was a nice little added touch. Once again very basic. Juice, yogurt, packaged Danishes, fruit, make your own waffles, and bagels. once again it gets the job done if you want something to eat.
The are is ok. right across the street from a burger king and a block away from a gas station and subway. looks like you should kind of hold on to your purse and make sure you have your whereabouts. ran across a homeless person or two but because the street is a major street I felt pretty safe to walk to the center and back. the vine city station is also in walking distance.
I would stay there again if needed

Dave Fon 25/01/2017 17:37I was going to stay at this hotel after a work trip where I stayed in the lovely Midtown area. What a difference this place was.
I walked to the hotel from the MARTA station which was really quite scary. There were some guys who were surrounding a parked car in a parking lot who shot over to me as soon as they saw me asking if I was going to the Greyhound and demanding a dollar for 'helping' me.
I hailed a passing cab to avoid the mugging and he dropped me at the hotel.
All I will say is that when got to my room I instantly skyped a colleague of mine and asked if I could use his sofa for the weekend. I turned back and waited in the hotel lobby for a cab to take me back into town. I felt bad for the receptionist as she asked me 'whats wrong?'. I just could not get the words out that it is a terrible place because she has to work there. Poor girl....
Trip to Falcons Game
Nyrfann2on 17/01/2017 13:03This hotel was good for a quick one night stay. Came for the football game and stayed one night. Quick walk to the stadium-about ten minutes. Good location. Rooms are OK. Outdated and nothing special. But for what we used it for - was fine. Only major issue was TV didn't work. Went to the front desk. She sent the maintenance man up to check it out. He wouldn't step in the room- handed us a new remote and walked out. It didn't help and we had no TV all night. Was not comped for the problem. Check in staff was very friendly and happy and smiling. Had a free breakfast.
