Coorg has something or the other to offer to everyone who visits and explores its enticing and exciting little domain. 252 kms from Bangalore and 1525 m above sea level lies Madikeri, the district headquarters of Kodagu. Coorg or Kodagu (originally called Kodaimalenadu) means dense forest on steep hill. Dubbed as the Scotland of India, this town has a lot to offer to the tourist. Misty hills, lush forest, acres and acres of coffee plantation, orange groves, undulating streets and breathtaking views are what make Madikeri an unforgettable. Coorg is on the Western Ghats.

hi i m the most recent visited person for this hotel. i really appreciate the staff of this hotel. they were very active and helpful . we were visited so many hotels but the quality was way better here according to the price.
We had our lunch here which was so tasty and less oily. So i would recommend this hotel for normal budget persons. Market restaurants were s close.
we ordered soup also and soup was very tasty.

Best place to stay in Madikeri.

I stayed here for 3 nights, had the best exprience here , the staff was so caring . Complimentary breakfsst was awesome( loved the fact that we order complimentary breakfast rather than a buffet) nice toasts puri, idli. ample amount of space for parking , rooms were comfortable and i did not find the need for AC . all attractions are close by . Nice restaurant with very tasty food. Will stay here next time. If you have a car and want hassle free parking this is the place to be. I had booked it through goibibo and a good deal. I didnt want the room with a valley view as i wouldnt be in the room the whole day and night it is scary as its pitch dark and attracts lots of insects.

Book this without hesitation

Was surprised to see poor and terrible reviews for this property. But then noticed they're old. This one deserves a good rating and a good review. The place is neat and very well located. Very close to the main road. Overlooks the valley. Nice views from the top level rooms. The staff is good and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and well lit naturally. This place is very close to Raja's Seat (Sunset point) and also close to the main market area. Plus side is you can get a good deal on goibibo for this. Don't be alarmed by the old reviews. I had my doubts but this place proved itself well. Go for it.

Stinky rooms

MayurKanodiaon 02/10/2016 16:31

Rooms alongwith bathroom were stinky and person siting on counter was not ready to accept till the time I raised my voice. No Wi-fi in rooms even though it is mentioned while booking, beds were bit moist, overall did not find worth the amount that I paid

I had booked one room with 2 extra beds for 2 days on Sept 13 to 14th >because of the sudden unrest in Karnataka staring on the 11th and escalated on 12th and buses were set on fire on the 12th I cancelled the trip. The hotel refused to refund room rent for one day. It is not my fault How can I take the risk of travelling when mysore mandaya and Khushal nagar. All other hotels booked by me in mysore refunded the full amount. Thia is bad
