We had to make last minute reservations, so I was only going off of pictures online. When we got there, the area around seemed a little sketchy and the pictures from hotels.com were definitely from a long time ago. However, there were several rather expensive cars parked in the lot. The pool area was not up kept with high weeds growing all around it and it looked like it had not been cleaned out in some time once you got close enough to see the bottom. The road itself was small, but decent. The walls are not very thick and you can hear people's conversations in the hallway areas while you are in your room. The service was extremely friendly and helpful.

Unacceptable Dirty room AND unsafe room key

1. their door use the old style steel key. Well, this is not safe, any prior guest could make a duplicate copy to get into your room. It is not possible for them to change the key each time change new guest.
2. Room are smelly, Carpet and bathroom floor are Extremely dirty. Dry noodle and rice were between the bed and the Lamp table (see photo). Table has inches of dust. Even we paid for 2 rooms non-refundable resort price for an dirty INN, we quickly decided to leave. Rather drive at night for 4 hours back to SF, better than sleep with the bed bugs.....When I think back, leaving was the best choice I ever did for me, my friend, and my family......
3. There is a big black dog walking in/out of the room that stores lots of cleaned towel. located next to room #1.... OMG, dog with the cleaned towel.

The Motel is in a great location, but is generally looking very tired. To save money we booked a motel in the resort, rather one of the high class hotels close by, and I do realise you get what you pay for. The 2 rooms we hired were a good size, but were heated by rather noisy gas heaters. Both rooms were clean, but in need of modernising. Some of the rooms have been done, but not ours. The bathrooms had no heating and were very cold after exiting the shower. The shower rose was surprisingly low on the wall, at about 5ft off the floor, making it difficult to have a comfortable shower/wash......saying that, there was always hot water. The stay way overshadowed by the loss of our iPad, which was in our room while we went out for the day. The management were not able to cast any idea of who may of taken the iPad, even though there were camera's in good locations that would help. The tapes were apparently reviewed in private, which was annoyingly frustrating.

A Place to sleep

This motel is clean but has seen it's day. It is close by the casinos and private beach. The rooms is in need of updating. There is no air conditioning and our bathroom window was would not open. The brighter side to our stay here was the staff was friendly and helpful. The wifi was strong and fast. There was a nice coffee maker in the room and the bed was comfortable. It is a clean and quiet place to stay if you are on a budget.

Front desk staff was very friendly and informative. Location is great, walking distance to beach, casinos and shopping. Clean and quiet rooms could use update, it shows it's age. I will stay here again.
