This is the second time I have come to this hotel and have loved it just as much as the first. It's an amazing hotel despite some minor problems but that doesn't take away from its quality. The hotel has crazy beautiful views of the red rocks of Sedona (only if you ask for a red rock room upper or lower; I personally like upper). It has a great location right in the middle of uptown Sedona where you can walk out the door to a vast collection of shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, and other hotels within minutes. The only problems with this hotel that I have is that I did have a few bugs crawling around my room/bed/pillow, however that should be expected especially if you open patio/front doors late at nights since it is situated in Oak Creek Canyon. The rooms are quite outdated for the current age but a bed is a bed. My only other 'problem' was one morning we went out to the pool to lay out and swim and the pool was infested with massive beetles probably 2 inches wide. However, it wasn't a big deal, we grabbed the skimming net and got them out. Also, friendly reminder that this pool is either not heated or they keep it at a cool temperature because it is definitely more chilly than your average hotel pool, but it sure feels nice in the hot AZ sun!

Best Location in Sedona and best pool!

Found this little gem on start of roadtrip and even went back at the end. Room had superb view of valley, lovely and clean and spacious. Pool amazing overlooking the valley so great to unwind. just across the road from starbucks and eateries. Short stroll to central sedona. Also has private walk way to the creek below so nice for a stroll. One of the cheaper options in central sedona and was so pleasantly suprised.

Convenient location, large and nice rooms, stunning views, and walk down to Oak Creek

This is a very nice value if you are looking for an excellent location for walking (8 minutes +/-) to uptown Sedona or to Tlaquepaque or drive and park in a few minutes if you find a closer free parking right away. Rooms all come with generous square footage, very clean and nicely decorated with simple but inviting feeling. We chose this place because of the price compared to all other places located right next Oak Creek near close as possible to uptown Sedona. This summer (July) we walked to the creekside and found wild blackberries growing among all other trees and flowers. If you are planning to lounge around the hotel/resort this may not be the place for you. But if you are looking for a good value and excellent location and eating and shopping in town and sightseeing away from hotel this may be one of the best choices.

This was a nice hotel with a reasonable price. The rooms were clean and the service was pleasant. The air conditioning was a bit to be desired. Took a while for the room to col but once it did it was fine. Beautiful views of the red rocks from our balcony. The stairs down to the creek could use some work and cleaning up but the wild blueberries at the bottom were a treat.

Hidden Jewel

So we didn't have a room for the night as we drove into Sedona. And our intention was to find some place cheap but still nice. Although I don't consider 140 a night cheap, we decided to stay here mainly because it was convenient to the road and had their vacancy light on. When we got into our room, let's just say it was a bit dated. However, opening that curtain to the mountain view would make anyone forget the 1990 feel of the room. On top of that, the place was really clean and serene. And we took advantage of their creek path that lead to even more breathe taking views and experiences.
