We visited the Secret Garden campsite for the fifth year running, and nothing has changed, except for the fact Allan & Corinne have retired! the new owners Martin & Wendy intend to carry on giving a great service to the house and campsite. This is a really wild part of the Cornish coast line, with many accessible rocky coves and beaches, with seals, if you are lucky enough to spot them, fantastic walking area and only a short distance from St Just, where you can find everything you could possibly need, and plenty of great eating places. The campsite itself is extremely well kept and small with privacy if that is your need, even when all of the pitches are occupied. Sad that Corinne & Allan have left, but this will not stop us returning next year.
Best breakfast in UK

Stayed 1 night during bicycling Cornwall. Very friendly and good service (bicycles stored safely in garage, water hose provided for cleaning the bicycles and our bike clothes washed for free). The room was clean with coffee and tea available. USB charger integrated in socket by the bed. The bathroom was nice. The living room was very nice and it was possible to buy soda, beer, etc. The breakfast was superb and mainly homemade (jam, yogurt, +).
The location was some outside St. Just. Approx 15-20 minutes walking. We ordered a car (5 GBP).
Great small campsite

We hadn't stayed here for about 5 years and then revisted over Easter. It was just as pretty as we remembered. Facilities were spotless. There were only 4 or 5 other pitches in use when we were there so I can't comment on what it is like when all the pitches are full. Its a short walk across the fields to St Just and there is good walking both along the coast path and inland. We hopefully won't leave it so long before our next visit.
Superb stay at a lovely location

Just back from a three night stay in the single room.
The room was comfortable, cosy, warm and quiet with a very well equipped en-suite.
Allan and Corinne were superb hosts; very helpful, and served a tremendous full English breakfast every day.
My final comment on the feedback form in my room sums up Bosavern Guest House. In answer to the question, "what can be done to improve us?", there was only one possible answer from me, "Impossible to improve on perfection".

Feel like we fell for the hype and came back disappointed and feeling ripped off. Yes is is beautiful and kept clean, no complaints there. The quiet will very much depend on who else is on the site when you are. However we felt unwelcome. The owners although accepting of children seemed reluctant. The welcome was a long list of don'ts, way beyond what was necessary for most normal civilized humans - just felt like a long telling off before we had even been shown the pitch. Also beware of the pricing before you book, you will be charged extra for ever tiny thing you add to your pitch, with no common sense applied. Won't be going again!
