Ann Kon 24/05/2017 17:28The Center Harbor Inn was a very pleasant surprise. We booked through Groupon and expected an older rustic hotel. Instead, we found a newly refurbished and upgraded one. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room with a deck and a great lake view. The hotel is quiet and clean and with lots of activities for families. It is centrally located to shopping and dining as well. The morning breakfast was tasteful and adequate.

Bonnie Ron 30/04/2017 22:56Having been at many hotels with firm beds, I wanted to rave about the comfortable pillow top bed! The bedding is great, the pillows are too big for any normal sleeper... but the bed is comfy!! (And that's a rare find!). We did not get to try the hot tub overlooking the lake, but it looks wonderful!! Beautiful view .. right on the lake!
There's a few things that could be better, aside from the pillow, like 2 pod of caffeinated coffee (instead of 1) and more creamer. The heat is loud and there's no real option of softer lights... but really all in all this is a lovely hotel, comfy and well located.

Josh Mon 23/04/2017 03:20Booked a surprise trip for my significant other's birthday and took a chance with only 1 review about the renovation and it paid off far beyond what I hoped for, so had to write a review of my own!
The hotel is gorgeous, very charming cabin-on-the-lake look with each room having a private balcony with chairs. Sam, the hostess/EVERYTHING it seemed was extremely helpful and accommodating, exceptional job for sure(and I worked in luxury hotels for three years!)
Everything from the fixtures to the hallway decorations are understated but beautiful. The corner room was amazing! Two balconies overlooking the lake, an incredibly comfortable and massive bed looking out. The bathroom is sparkling (not my favorite shower style, but I'm weird) and has nice wooden accents throughout. We ventured out to the hot tub which was very spacious, well-maintained and awesome overlooking the lake. The beach is still a work in progress, but should be open come summer with some awesome additions planned!
We intended to stay one night(but of course went for late checkout because lazy birthdays are the best birthdays). We woke up seeing the sun rise on the lake and hearing the gentle waves against the beach outside. Just beyond perfect. We immediately booked for another day... which turned out to be a littler rainier but that's just a great excuse to lay in that wonderful bed overlooking the lake.
Perfect getaway that we hope to make many, many times in the future!

Center Harbor Inn has been remodeled with beautiful hickory wood, fresh carpet, classy fixtures and one of the most comfortable bed my husband and I have climbed in. The Continental breakfast was healthy, simple and delicious. The coffee was deep, delicious with cream if you wanted. Yogurt and healthy granola/ protein balls were fit for an athlete.
