暑い部屋
rararamon 14/08/2017 05:10駅から近く大聖堂もすぐなので、鐘の音も聞こえます。
改装中みたいです。お部屋はキレイでしたが。
が、暑かった。外はウルトラダウンがちょうどいい涼しさなのに熱気がこもる部屋で、扇風機を回してました。
冷蔵庫は有りますが、冷えてません。
テレビもドライヤーもクローゼットも有りますが、スーツケースは広げられないかな。
ベッドはシングルです。
朝食はハムとパンとコーヒーとヨーグルトで簡単なものです。

一泊7500円くらいです。
日本のビジネスホテルのが質はいいと思います。
私の割り当てられた部屋は従業員用のトイレを通り越し廊下の扉を三回抜けて階段を２つも登った迷路のような場所で、窓からは厨房の換気扇のパイプのようなものしか見えず。
暑いし、スーツケースの持ち運びは疲れるので大聖堂の見える部屋に替えてほしいと言ったら満室とのこと。それにダイレクトに大聖堂が見える部屋は無いそうです。
のぞきこめば大聖堂見えるんでしょうね。うまい言い訳でした。
場所はとても良いし、部屋もキレイなので泊まるかたは色々とリクエストするといいと思います。

The family room was bright and large, with two bedrooms and the décor was modern.
The room, bedsheets and towels were very clean.
Negative
Breakfast service could be improved. Selection was good but no black tea offered and no white sliced toasting bread left after 7.15am even though breakfast is open until 10am. A more attentive service could have easily offered to source these and would have received a very positive review.
The door to the hotel room was missing a hinge so was an effort to open. The room was modern, clean and very acceptable, finished to what I would describe as a good but not high standard. TV had poor reception and there were no instructions to find the channels which would have been helpful. The shower was very small and a larger person would struggle.
Small niggles but overall a very good hotel and I would recommend it.
Close to the train station

The room was nice and it had a fan which was great but also the bed was very uncomfortable. For the price it was good. I would stay again if going for a quick friends trip.
Poor Service, Hotel not good
Cyan Don 28/06/2017 08:32Rooms OK, service shocking. Staff can't cope with full capacity of guests so your stay will suffer. Staff don't show any helpfulness in trying to solve a problem, e.g. Certain foods at breakfast run out due to too many people, told "you'll have to make do with what's left".
We were on a cycling holiday, but told to park our bikes 2 miles away, even the IBIS Hotel let's you take bikes into your room. Again staff not interested.
Cologne is lovely, shame the hotel had poor staff and only interested in taking your money.

Horst Son 27/06/2017 12:19They are in walking distance of train station (and dome). The hotel is dated, but verything is clean and neat. So if you are not into paying a fortune and are content with a room-for-a-night, you will be well served. Breakfast is included.
