Cosy and comfortable
Denis 'on 07/11/2016 12:00The Central hotel is welcoming and warm. I stayed 2 nights. Great breakfast: the only problem was restraining myself from trying everything! It is just off the main shopping street and a couple of minutes walk from the cathedral. The room is spotless. Nice TV and 3 or 4 English language news channels. Staff and polite and attentive. It's a small local independent hotel, but you just know when you walk in that you will be well looked after here.
Located in town center but.....
Eitan Kon 17/10/2016 20:12Location is excellent and there is a parking under the hotel. Breakfast was fine in the first morning but less good in the second day. A very strange smell from the loo (wc) and no lift to the 4th floor. Rooms on 3rd floor with upper window like a jail cell. The staff is polite and assistive .
Good for Freiburg City Center
Anitatatataon 26/06/2016 18:12We stayed in this hotel on our way back home to England from Crete. The hotel was very clean although the room we had was small. It had a mini bar which was reasonably priced. We recommend using the garage as parking is impossible, there is a charge for this. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff very friendly.The hotel is 2 minutes from the Cathedral. A nice hotel if you want to visit Freiburg site seeing.

Different types of fresh cheeses, cured meats, yougurts, sweets, marmalades, waffles, butter, honey, maple syrup, so many breads! Also nutella, teas, chocolate, toast. Eggs as well, and more.
The room was very clean and spacious, well furnished and decorated.
The staff was very kind and always available. It is very central as well, just a corner from Kaiser-Joseph-Straße.
I wish I'd had to stay for longer than one night!
Good centrally located hotel
Jens Lon 21/02/2016 10:06The hotel is located just off the pedestrianised part of Freiburg right in the Centre, so ideal as a base for exploring the city. The rooms are fairly standard with reasonable wi-fi and a comfortable bed.
The breakfast buffet did offer a good choice, but the scrambled egg was far too over-done - two mornings in a row so no coincidence.
Prices were reasonable for the type and style of hotel.
