Good location, nice bar
Dariusz Don 25/07/2017 11:15The hotel has a good location, just 50m from the train station. The rooms are small but bearable. Bar and food is very good. The minus was the service. The lady at the reception spoke not very good english so it was hard to fix the problem with the credit card (hotel blocked the sum twice and could not unblock - very annoying). Service at breakfast however was completely different level - lady was plain rude and very annoyed that spoken in English not German.

Alex Ron 25/07/2017 00:33Truly to recommend, a family run hotel with history and very friendly staff ! The breakfast is the best one in Hanover by far with a menu next to a sumptuous buffet. The local german restaurant is traditional with great quality food and a beautiful terrace outside. - I can recommend the Schnitzel !
Good Quality Hotel in the Heart of Hannover
dwheareon 11/07/2017 15:52Good quality hotel with an extensive breakfast in the heart of Hannover, friendly staff, outside beer garden/ patio, very close to the railway station. Some single rooms are quite small, so check when you book, however, these rooms are good value if you don't mind a snug room.

However I would not rate this hotel as a 4 star.
The rooms are tired and dated the curtains were hanging & did not close properly. There are no tea & coffee facilities or iron & ironing board in the rooms, reception did provide the latter but when they arrived the iron was broken. Future visits to Hannover will be in another hotel.

brgvon 26/06/2017 09:51Stayed for 1 night. I chose it because it was located near the main train station and had a reasonable price. This is a good value for money.
Worth mentioning- when arriving at the hotel, the guy at the front desk gave me a card with the price I needed to pay. Instead of 99 Euros, it was 166. When asked, he said that this price includes breakfast for 2 peaople, and if we didn't want it, the price would be 99 Euros. Later when checked, the price they charge for breakfast is 15 Euros per person. So... 99 + 15 + 15 is 129 - and they tried to charge us for 166!!! Be careful!
