Very large menu - service was actually very good for a late night visit. But nothing really great , so it met expectations. No reason to return unless you are right in the neighborhood.

I tried their HaGao(shrimp Dumpling) and the Sesame Ball which are tasty and authentic. The rice noodle of Fried beef noodle are not authentic type but taste is ok. The portion are big for asian.

choose from the last 6 pages of the menu (the dishes which have Chinese translation) and you will not be disappointed. The first part of the menu is the standard "German Chinese" food, the last pages is Chinese Chinese.

We had asked our hotel for Asian restaurant recommendations close by and were suggested to go to restaurant Hongkong. They had also reserved a table for us. We were a bit worried because some of the latest Feedbacks weren't all that positive. We were however assigned a lovely round table, waited some 10-15mins to place orders for drinks, starters & main dishes, and were very happy about the quality of food. The starters arrived rather quickly, with all of us having starters (spring rolls, soup, dim sum and some kroepoeks to share). The main dishes were all rather authentic, plentiful and served with free plain rice. Serving them took a while, and not all 7 arrived at the same time. To the quantities: Almost nobody managed to finish their plates, although we all ate more than we initially had planned, because it tasted so well.
The restaurant decor is very much as you would expect in a Chinese restaurant. We were seated in the middle section between the front part (windows) and the rear, nicely decorated part.
If you're not in too much of a rush, enjoy having a vast selection of dishes to choose from and appreciate that guests come from Europe and Asial alike, I can warmly recommend this place. We had great food, ok service, enough time to chat and the bill (with a couple of beers), amounted to little less than EUR105. I think, a great deal. Will come here again.

cannot say if this is really authentic, but it is a good chinese restaurant like others in germany.
Service was friendly and fast - once you get the chance to order.
Price is fair and portions can be huge.
