Apartment hotel in Chatou
Gábor Gon 18/08/2016 15:16We spent 4 nights in this apartment hotel as this is closed to our future home in Croissy.
Positive:
- the apartment was spacey and comfortable with 2 bedrooms
- staff was really polite and friendly, speaking well English
- we were together with our small dog and they were really flexible allowing the dog even if it is not usual there based on there information in their webpage
- easy free parking closed to the hotel, underground parking belong to the hotel is also convenient
Negative:
- access is not easy into the hotel in the "siesta" period. There is nobody in the reception and no way to open the main door, I had to climb over the fence and go into our ground floor room through the open window... Provided key or code for opening the door would help a lot
No business hotel at all!
Rafael Mon 02/06/2016 23:55You should not stay here, if you don't have too. Poor location and inventory is really old and uncomfortable. Especially bathrooms are very oldfashioned. Breakfast is also not worth the money! Go to a bakery and enjoy famous french baguette!
Excellent staff, in a very poor hotel
WendoverWenchon 06/09/2015 18:53No aircon (was on the top floor only, but broke 2 years ago), loo seat that wasn't attached to the loo (and never would do, as different fittings), shower didn't have a wall attachment, thin walls, slow lifts. Staff were good, and very helpful, pre paid breakfast was good. Only reason was for staying was its close to the office, but I'd prefer to stay somewhere else next time so I can get good quality sleep. If a bit of investment was made in the hotel to sort the basics it would be fine for a night or two.
Nice, clean hotel in a quiet location on the outskirts of Paris.
Jaxteron 28/04/2015 23:13All the other (positive) reviews are spot on. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is typical continental, nothing special. The privat garage costs 7€/day. Hotel is located in a quiet residential area, across from a senior citizen residence. Local train station/RER is a 20 min.walk away.
Pleasant Stay
Roger Ton 16/11/2014 19:00I checked in early for an additional charge. Room was clean and there was an electric hotwater pot for tea and instant coffee that was much appreciated after a long flight, train ride and walk from the RER station. Bed is a relatively thin mattress. Which is okay for me, but not suitable for some people.
The walk from the train was about a mile and Chatou is a lovely suburb...even lovelier when you take the long way past Maison Chatou. I made a mistake and walked up a private drive, ending up having to jump a fence rather than taking the long walk back over the cobblestones.
Walking distance to my company in Rueil Malmaison (if you don't mind walking a couple of miles).
