Great Location

Stayed for two nights at this small hotel located very conveniently by the Charles Bridge. Reasonable price, comfortable accommodation, enjoyable breafast (hot and cold) and very helpful staff.
Hotel is in the perfect location to explore the sights on foot on both sides of the river. Would highly recommend for visits without the need for transportation.

We were here in this hotel last year.
Perfect choice, the view to the Charles bridge was awesome. Very attentive staff helping you out and introducing attractions in different places. Breakfast was enough and very good. We did appreciated so much and did not regret of our choice of getting this hotel.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we were delighted with our choice.We were no more than 100s of metres from all the sights we wished to see and and surrounded by numerous restaurants.the view from our room overlooked the bridge but was still quiet.The breakfast was very adequate served by a very plesent girl.Thoroughly recommend this hotel

Outstanding value,site and service

The site of this simple hotel overlooking the Charles bridge is superb and everyone working there was as helpful as they could have been, from the kitchen staff to reception staff. Reception staff were always helpful and went out of their way to recommend places to eat and how to get around.

Ok my bed wasn't modern, it was wooden and had charm. The carpet was outdated but clean. If modern is what you want don't come here. If you want a view of the Charles bridge from your comfortable room for a good price then this is the place for you.

The breakfast included a cooked omelette and endless drinks, pastries, bread, cheese, jams etc.

The only downside was that a very loud fellow guest could be easily heard from my room. The soundproofing between rooms wasn't great.

Best Location Ever

We stayed in the Certovka hotel for my birthday this year. Having been to Prague the year before and staying in New Town we fell in love with Mala Strana and wanted to be in that location.

We couldn't have picked a better hotel. The Certovka is just off The Charles Bridge and on the Certovka Canal.
Location was perfect for everything we wanted to do but away from the hustle and bustle of Old Town.

Our room was lovely, really clean and spacious and with views over the Charles Bridge (but surprisingly quiet due to the great windows!).

Staff couldn't do enough for you and were so friendly.

The included breakfast was delicious and was open until 10.30am, perfect if you have been out late the night before.

When we go back to Prague (which won't be long as we love it) we will be booking the Certovka again.
We really can't fault it, it's perfect hotel in a perfect location.
