The standard room is nice, there was nothing super fancy to rave about it but I happened to have a peak of another room (when it was being cleaned) and it has a stunning view of the mountains. We stayed whole day outside the hotel for our itinerary, so all I can say about the room is that we had a good sleep, it was quiet, bed was relaxing, bathroom's clean and heater is working. Plus the location is only 5-10 minutes walk to Victory liner terminal.

What this hotel really got me was their free unlimited coffee. I am a coffee addict and adding up to the cold weather of baguio day and night, unli access to good coffee is so perfect! You can have it at the hotel's cafe or at your room.

Stayed here for a night. Overall stay was good.

1. Parking - Parking is limited. Basement parking is not so big. Be sure to check in early to avail a good spot in the parking. Some cars park beside the street near the hotel.
2. Room - When we arrived at our room, we saw the linens are a little bit dirty. But, the room was clean. Our room has a nice view of mountains and trees. Bathroom has a hot and cold shower. The glass side and door of the bathroom has a very little gap wherein you can see a little on what's inside.
3. Wifi - Wifi has an average speed. Good thing we can still connect even if we're inside the room.
I love the free coffee at the lobby.

So we traveled on a Friday evening to Bagio to rest from our busy week. This choice of hotel was a big let down.

Firstly, their kitchen closes at 9PM. When my wife went up at 840PM they told her it was closed. When she pointed out what time it was, they said:"Pick something that is quick to cook." We went to eat in the hotel Le Fern instead.

We picked the more expensive room type. The size and amenities for this room are good bargain. Alas all those rooms are right beside the elevator and staircase which means the noise come right in. Not too bad past 9pm though. They have nice vertical shades which offer zero protection from light.

Our little ref in the room didn't work, the A/C on the floor above was dripping on our A/C metal chassy the whole night we were hearing an annoying "ding-ding-ding"

Don't touch the faucet if you are bare feet or you will get zapped.

On the plus side, the router is right by the door and internet was strong enough for Netflix. As mentioned the rooms have A/C so you can have an extra cool room. Showers, CR are nice and good pressure. King size bed is comfortable and linen is of the nice kind we like. They have little slippers and both robes which is a nice touch. Overall the room is nice and comfortable.

The breakfast buffet was what you would expect for this class hotel. Does the job, not particularly exciting.

We are not adverse to the idea of staying here again if we hit a weekend were everything else is booked.

This is my second time to stay in Chalet Baguio Hotel. My first time (2016) was excellent but this time just average experience. I felt like the bed covers are not that clean since they have dusts when I arrived the room.

I had lunch in Dulcinea and their food is just average as well.

Overall, my stay was fine but not that excellent experience like last year.

A relaxing stay..

We had a good stay in this hotel.. unlike the other one we stayed in.. Here, we only had to add less than a thousand pesos but definitely got the value for money.

Staffs are accommodating but don't expect them to be so proactive. Approach them if you need to be assisted.

Furnitures are okay as well as the linens. Bathroom fixtures are a bit outdated & some needs to be replaced or maybe screwing it tighter will do.

Room was clean, we had like 3 trash bins in our room 😁.. complimentary bottled water & glasses are neatly arranged & covered. There's a pen & paper ready in case you wanna write something down for the management. They also offer laundry wash, dry & fold.. laundry bags are ready & rates are stated.

Breakfast buffet was good as well.. they offer wide selection.. you may consider it as brunch ☺️...

Unlimited coffee & water is available in Dulcinea (the resto inside chalet)... they also offer pastries etc. ambiance is cool & relaxing...

Would I recommend Chalet?.. yes...
For we got the value for what we paid for..
