Vickie Mon 04/08/2017 01:20We celebrated our 47th Anniversary here and we're so pleased that we did. Great location, beautiful accommodations and Pattie and Margaret were wonderful. The beautifully decorated log home is relaxing and comfortable. Three course breakfasts are a feast for the eyes as well as your taste buds. Thank you Pattie and Margaret for making our stay memorable.

The attention to detail is obvious in the decor, and coming from an interior designer, that says a lot! The food was amazing, and the willingness to please, from both Margaret and Patty made you feel like you made a great choice by staying with them.

ewl44on 14/07/2017 14:53Our stay at The Chalet of Canandaigua was one of the most remarkable experiences that we have had at any B&B over the years. The Chalet is a beautiful blend of rustic and modern. The rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed, and well equipped. Our bathroom was large and modern with every need addressed. The Chalet itself is a striking structure with a very interesting history located on the forested hills west of Lake Canandaigua, NY. Frankly, many B&B's are striking; however, what sets the Chalet apart are the innkeepers, Margaret and Patti. They are blessed with an intuitive gift of hospitality and care. It was their passion to make our stay with them special and uniquely customized to our likes and needs. Beside their knowledge of the area and desire that we enjoy the unique character of the Finger Lakes region, one of their most remarkable talents is customizing their breakfasts to what we enjoyed eating while expanding our personal cuisine. While this might sound "cute" they pulled this off with great culinary skill and vision - no breakfast was ever the same, a promise that they make to all of their guests. Margaret and Patti made our experience most special, one that we hope to repeat in the near future. Well done, beautiful and unique experience - highly recommend the Chalet of Canandaigua. Great place to stay!
JDStewarton 13/07/2017 14:04My wife and I stayed here last week for our 15th anniversary. The hosts were very friendly and helpful in planning activities around the area. The breakfasts were superb! Three courses, all creative and tasty. We would highly recommend staying here! Very deserving of its lofty ranking!

dshimmelon 11/07/2017 15:07Our second trip to Canandaigua was made even more special by the relaxed, friendly and peaceful atmosphere of the Chalet of Canandaigua. The tone of our stay was set, first of all, by the well-maintained and welcoming grounds which said, "Relax." That was reinforced after meeting our hosts, Margaret and Pattie. They were very welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for dining and adventure based on our interests. Their three-course breakfasts were not only pleasing to the eyes, but also to the taste buds! The room was clean and comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. We will definitely be returning to the Chalet!
