Great value for money
michaelsO71DBon 18/11/2016 20:03Booked this for me and my daughter last year. Easy to find, very friendly staff. The rooms were large and clean. The price was good. The slope back to the chalet can get a bit bumpy and the walk to the slopes not quite on the doorstep but there are some stairs over the road that get you onto a path which is skiable.
It was that good we are returning this year with all the family.
Great ski holiday
joelpatrolon 25/03/2016 11:02Had a fantastic time here over Christmas with a group of 14. The chalet was everything we could have hoped for, the living room and dining room were both large and comfortable and bedrooms were decent sized. Best part was the view from the balcony over the slopes. Access to the slopes was a short walk down the hill and the centre was only a 10 minute walk from the chalet so is well located.
A very nice stay
t2sdon 20/02/2016 15:04We are just coming back from a week in this residence. First of all a big thank you and well done to the receptionists. They were helpful and extremely pleasant. We stayed in an appartment for 8 people: 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was quite clean when we arrived. Just a few dishes in the kitchen were not very well washed by our predecessors The flats are not the newest ones but they are quite nice. We were at "pick time" during the holidays season and found the residence pretty quiet. We were 6 in the appartment and never lacked hot water. As to the heat ... the flat was in fact a bit too hot.
Facilities: Super steam room. We really enoyed it. The sauna could be warmer.
Ski: you need to walk about 150 metres to join the ski slopes but can come back directly to the residence skiing via a red slope. If you have children taking skiing lessons, be aware that the residence is a bit far from the ski school and with 'ski beginners' you will need to take one of the free bus / shuttles to drive you to the school. The shuttles come every 20 minutes. Television could do with more than one channel in English. Very good wifi signal for internet.
Shopping: there is a SHERPA (convenience shop) very close to the residence.
Restaurants: the residence is 5 min walk from the town centre and if you don't want to walk far, there are some very good restaurants really close by.

Tomas Pon 31/01/2016 17:23We stayed for 6 nights in 2 bedroom apartment. We were in Val Thorens more than 10 times and this Chalet is one of the best apartments we had.
Rooms are quite big, well equiped and clean. In apartment are 2 bathrooms.
Also nice view from windows is very nice.
Parking P0 is 5 min walk.
Book for the right amount of people

In total we had 18 between two chalet's. 8 were on floor 4 and 10 were in the penthouse (floor 5) with a fantastic view over the valley (Chalet Milo and get it if you can!!!)
Both had a host for the whole week (booked through ski world and they came highly recommended).
I wouldn't call them luxurious but they were absolutely perfect for a week in the snow. Comfortable, clean and well maintained.
If your planning on a trip to Val thorens with a large group of people these chalets would be perfect.
