Great design for a football stadium
NTP66on 26/07/2017 19:25The good: It's a great design for a football stadium, with terrific views no matter where you sit. There are plenty of restrooms, places to eat, etc., and lots of parking on-site.
The bad: You're watching the Eagles, surrounded by some of the worst fans in the NFL.
Behind the scenes Eagles Super FAN tour
Miss_JB_916on 23/07/2017 09:07My husband is a fanatic. Huge fan of the Eagles. Listens to Eagles radio all the time and can rattle off stats like an owner.
We live in California, were transiting through PHL on a family trip with our 9mo baby. Husband set his sights on the stadium tour and the universe swirled around Monday 7/10 @2pm.
We met our guide, Jason, in the fan shop and right away could sense he was the right man to handle the energy and anticipation coming at him from my husband. Full of facts, humor and professionalism, he literally made my husbands dream tour come to mean more than just a walkabout.
While I remain a loyal fan of my loyal fan, a stadium tour isn't my box of Cheerios, especially with an infant on a hot July afternoon. That said, I know my husbands heart is full having checked one more box off his obligations as a dedicated birdman. As he stares at his home collection of memorabilia, carefully cultivated off eBay with an artists eye, he is somehow more satisfied having touched the turf (figuratively, we couldn't actually touch the field) of the team that brings him such great joy.
Big thanks again to Jason for doing such a great job bringing the stadium to life. From here on the crunchy, granola coast, it was wonderful to see such a large scale venue that is completely off the grid and dedicated toward continued green/sustainability practices! Well done!
