This chateau is past its heyday but it still has the feel of a castle, large rooms, gardens (in need of some TLC) and sitting and dining rooms. Importanly it is good value. If you want a fully renovated chateau you will need to pay for it. We had a superb meal in the dining room. 5 star ambience and service, including our waiter in his black suit and long black coat who guided us through the food and wine menu. Three course meal was 40€ with the foil gras speciality.

Nice one night stop at Chateau Bellevue

The Chateau is located is a typical Gascon village, and offers the charm of old mansions. The garden is a beauty and turns the morning breakfast on the terrrace into an agreable experience. The room was large (according to French standards), with windows opening on the garden.
The bed was (only) ok. The bath and wc were a bit squizzed, with the bathroom being only semi-private (separated from the corridor only by a thin wooden door ...).

Chateau experience at an affordable price. A "jewel" in the Gers Departement of France.

When you book into an old "Chateau" in France it is because you want to enjoy gracious living in a truly unique way. The Chateau Bellevue offers this "in spades" . Set in its own large gardens, the rooms are spacious with high ceilings and the staircase creaks - as it should! Nonetheless the amenities are modern and the service faultlessly professional and warm. One of the great benefits of this jewel of the Gers, is the fine dining it offers in the evenings. We stayed for 6 nights and tried it twice. Both times it was superb food, beautifully presented and served with excellent wines and it was affordable. Bravo Le Chateau Bellevue.

Lovely surprise - a little gem

We stayed here for a night during the summer while driving a around France for 2 weeks with our young children and it was a delightful surprise.

A family-run country house hotel with charming rooms, lovely grounds and swimming pool and delicious food served on the terrace by knowledgable and friendly waiters. Everybody were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much for them- a truly service minded establishment!

Good spot to relax with great cuisine.

Enjoyed a very pleasant long weekend stay at the Bellevue. This family run hotel is very friendly with super food. We were made extremely welcome by the proprietor who is a Sommelier who shared both his knowledge of wine and gave our group a valuable insight into the region and it's culture.

The chateau is in a lovely setting with relaxing gardens and a terrace where you can enjoy a drink in the sunshine. Although this was a boys weekend visiting the classic car festival at the circuit Paul Armagnac in Nogaro I would happily return with my wife so she can enjoy the hospitality. The old locks and antique decor added to the experience and the hotel is clearly being regularly updated. Some renovation is still required but the overall package is very good.

The restaurant has an excellent though limited menu (about 5 main courses to choose from) of local produce which was both well presented and delicious. Plus as we had an extended stay we were offered additional meal options to help keep our gastronomic experience fresh. I am happy to report every meal was a delight. Highly recommended.
