Yun-Ching Jon 22/06/2017 10:48Great service and professional receptionists, they offering multi language service and willing to answer your question. The hotel is near the capital, it's convenient for traveling and business. You don't have to rent a car, just using the public transportation system.
Business trip stay
988kshon 22/06/2017 07:58Overall its good, for short stay with not much comments. I see new staff are coming into the team, yet the previous culture of the hotel are not properly implemented. New blood is fine but not to forget the original taste of Chateau de Chine DNA.

Willie Pon 21/06/2017 16:08The hotel is nice and clean. Lobby is quite big. Friendly staff and very efficient. Walking distance to taoyuan train station. Breakfast is good, lots of choices and quality food served. Will definitely choose this hotel next time.
Older hotel, clean but needs updating.
RLmECon 29/04/2017 15:38I needed to stay for a night in Taoyuan so that I can catch an early morning flight. I've tried another hotel the previous trip but decided to try out another hotel. Chose this because of the generally positive reviews.
The hotel is easy to find, located near the center of the city. The decorations have a retro feel, probably looked grand a number of years ago; still look quite good, at least at the lobby.
The check-in process was smooth. Staff was friendly.
I had a Superior Queen Room, which has a double-bed. The room looks spacious, though the decoration really looks dated. The carpet looks worn out and desperately in need of updating. While the room looks clean, the look of the carpet and furniture made it look less clean.
Sound proofing in the room was generally OK, though I could occasionally hear voices from the adjacent room. The area seems quiet at night.
They provided both wifi and Ethernet cable for internet connection in the room. The wifi connection was generally Ok; did not experience any speed or connection problem.
Breakfast was quite good, with a wide variety of of food.
If you don't mind the dated condition, this is a hotel worth staying in.
Lovely stay
sherman yon 25/04/2017 02:58I was due for a long stop over in Taiwan from LAX, it was NYE and I didn't want to spent 14hrs at the aiport risking starvation and lonesome. Found this hotel in Taoyuan for $65/ night. Arrived by taxi it ran about 300NT from the airport. The bellmen took my luggage to the front desk and checking in was smooth. This seems like hotels from the late 80s or early 90s with moderate renovations over the years, you can tell by how old the elevators are. Got in the room and I must say, Ive never been to a hotel room more equipped without having to call housekeeping even in Vegas standards. A few things on top of my head, 2 free bottled waters, fruits, tea, coffee, blow dryer, iron, robe, slippers and the bathroom had one of those bidet toilet system and literally about 20 packets of different toiletries just laying there from soaps to shave to lotions, mouthwash, floss, conditshh .. you name it, they had it.
The bed was quite comfortable and cold A/C.
This place is pretty well located, there are tons of places to walk around the vicinity including a big mall a few minutes away.
