Great Place for Friends and Family
Paccatchcooon 12/11/2016 17:03We spent a week here in October 2016 - it was very special. The property and surrounding grounds were incredible. The quite walks and peaceful country was just what we needed. There were 7 couples in our group we cooked, ate, drank, laughed and even enjoyed a murder masquerade party (a perfect setting). The surrounding country was beautiful and local towns had all the baked goods, cheeses, wine, and meats you need. You did have to drive to get to wine country and visit other special towns, driving was easy.
Beautiful French Chateau

Food we excellent - grounds were lovely and we felt very welcome.

N0rthwayon 15/07/2016 22:28This was absolutely perfect. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The chateau is beautiful and very tastefully and comfortably restored, while remaining charming and cosy. We stayed in the family suite which was perfectly suited to a family--with the kids sleeping in the tower in a gorgeous little room separated from ours by two doors and a shower room and a bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and the evening meals too, though perhaps less suited to young children -- the children's options were heavily meat and fish based. We loved loved loved this place. Small enough to feel intimate but large and professional enough not to feel like we were staying in someone's home. The local village is also great if you feel like going for a more relaxed meal as there are a good few options there on the square.
Country Getaway

A gorgeous chateau in a beautiful region owned and operated by a husband and wife. The husband being the chef.
Hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. The beds are exceptional.
Had dinner in the garden on the first night and it was absolutely amazing. Perfection from the bread to the desert. Simply spectacular.
Highly recommended.

carine117on 03/07/2016 13:11We've spend a wonderful 3 nights at Chateau de la Lande. Perfect room, delicious food and friendly staff. A perfect place to stay and come to rest. Lots of nice villages to visit and beautiful surroundings.
