Still wonderful 30 years later!
Stephen Won 16/08/2017 22:35I wanted to show my lady of 24 years this lovely place I visited 30 years ago. Neither of us were disappointed. Gracious and attentive service thruout! Elegant restaurant and food. Beautiful setting and walking trails. Wonderful older chateau with splendid interiors and views in several public rooms. Can't think of anything to criticize, and well worth the costs which are moderate and for great value.
Fantastic stay in Beautiful Chateau
Arthur Bon 26/05/2017 17:59We loved our stay here. The grounds were beautiful--great lawn leading down to wooded trails bordering a river. The staff were friendly and helpful. They would answer any questions, and proactively supplied us with maps, a Michelin Guide, and written day trip itineraries. When we arrived, we were told that we had been upgraded to a suite (which was beautiful with a head on view of the grounds and river) at no charge. We are just ordinary travelers, but they made us feel special.

The location is ideal, it being situated on a sheltered inlet from the ocean, but within easy access of Lorient, a bustling town. The view from our room was terrific and totally relaxing.
There was a very friendly welcome and one has the feeling of being in a well loved family home - it has been in the same family for centuries.
Service was excellent and the cuisine first rate. All very polished and professional.
Thoroughly recommended and we will be back yet again. Thank you to all.

rjones629on 28/02/2017 18:06Great location, treated so well by Bruno and the other staff. We stayed two nights and had the Special Valentines meal, the food and service was excellent. We cannot wait to return.
The bed was very comfortable, the room well appointed and spotlessly clean throughout, the Breton sweet and biscuit on your pillow at night was a lovely touch.
Refined luxury - wonderful stay
Cocosuzieon 15/02/2017 22:59We came here for a special Valentine's Day celebration. It was a beautiful, romantic choice and we enjoyed every minute. The chateau is stunning yet not overly precious and we still felt comfortable, the staff discreet yet warm and welcoming. The restaurant is very refined - our fish was cooked to perfection. It was very cold outside so our outings were limited but the grounds are spectacular, and the lovely heated outdoor pool must be a treat in the warmer months. If you like going for walks, pack some good shoes as the grounds are massive, with all-day walking trails if you have the energy. My only complaint is that I cannot afford to live here!
