What People are saying

Surrounding is amazing , lousy service

Vizaimon 21/05/2017 17:58

The hotel is amazing, the chateau is like from a fairytale.
Room was big yet very simple. It was clean and nice but 4 star nothing more.
The restaurant in the hotel is nice.
Service was lousy, we had to take our baggage 2 floors with stairs. No evening cleaning , and not very welcoming

Hotel + Winery = Perfection

You drive up this gorgeous driveway to a castle on top of a hill with wine grapes all around you. What an entrance! Our small group had booked 3 rooms at the hotel and we had such a wonderful stay. The rooms were spacious and each one was unique. Everything was clean and you had everything you needed (even robes and slippers :). I wish we could have stayed longer to visit the spa but we were able to make reservations for dinner. Make sure you make reservations because it is a very small and intimate restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing! It was a bit too cold out to stay outside but they did have a pool. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves.

Nice view but...

Lets look at the positive's first. The location in the vineyard is just magical. The rooms have a mini bar and air conditioning. The negative's are: The rooms are not up to the standard you would expect, think shabby chic. The hotel is run more like a B & B than a hotel. The owners are not hoteliers and it shows, the entrance and signage show the lack of professionalism. You have to drag your bag through gravel to the poorly marked entrance. There was no offer of assistance with luggage. The breakfast was if poor quality for the price. Final thoughts! Go for the view!

Lovely Hotel

I channeled my inner Rapunzel (minus the hair and the prince drives a CaliforniaT not a horse) in this hotel. We stayed in room 11. It has access to one of the towers. We had coffee up there the next day before heading down to an excellent breakfast.

The view is to die for. Hotel elegant. Staff are friendly. The food, fantastic. Wine list is extensive.. We sat in front of the fire after dinner having a night cap. I would love to come and stay again but sadly I don't think we are coming back this summer. I wish we could.

Charming castle with exquisite views

We stayed in the mistral room which included a lovely patio area. The hotel is a castle built in the late 1800s and has a lot of charm.

There is also a vineyard, winery and wine tasting room on the property and a very fine restaurant.

Our room was nicely appointed with upgraded amenities including robes, slippers and coffee maker. Tub only shower with hand held sprayer - it would be simple to upgrade this to a stand up shower. Also, mattresses could us upgrading.

Staff was friendly, efficient and helpful.

The views from this property are stunning / from the long drive in to the 360 degrees views to sunrises and sunsets.
