From the cigarette burns in the 1970's bedspread, to the plastic covered furniture in the lobby, to the converted school bus with residence in the parking lot, this place was a test in sanity for staying. The banging by the neighbor on the door at 3:00 am wouldn't have been so bad if we could have looked out the peephole (which wasn't there) to see if everything was okay. Definitely an adventure I will not be repeating.

Everything about the hotel was horribly wrong. I have stayed at low budget hotels before but Chateau Royale Inn is the worst I have ever seen. The smell is old, no elevator, stair way was dirty dark and unsafe, room was dirty dirty dirty DIRTY!!! I honestly don't think they wash the bed sheets or covers. Bathroom walls filthy dirty. I attempted to get a refund and as to be expected he refused and was extremely rude and nasty with me. PLEASE do not waste your time here. I am puzzled as to how they are even in business.

I was going to a wedding the next day, I booked for 2 nights. arrived there, lobby looked old but I was ok with that. Guy at desk was no where to be found,he finally arrived I signed in because I was raised not to judge a book by its cover, the room smelled but i noticed AC was not on,turned it on went to get something to eat,came back and room still stuck, went to check the AC and noticed the chairs were STAINED and that made me examine the rest of oom, pulled back sheets and there were yellow stains on it,pillows stink, some kind of stain on floor,bath tub had mold, I decided this was way too bad to sleep and get ready for a wedding the next day so I CHECKED OUT!! The guy at desk was passed out and I had to hit the desk with my hand a few times before he woke up and the look on his face was not nice looking. I checked out. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!

OhMYGod! I was so wound prior to this weekend trip ! refreshed and relaxed. My husband and i really enjoyed ourselves. I would totally recommend . Room clean, just a good ole time. breakfast was outstanding.

Gee, where do I begin? How bout I'll start by saying as I sit here at the very chateau, in the spa tub that doesn't work, I am reading all the terrible reviews with my daughter and we are laughinggggg.

We booked late so ended up here and well a few reviews said it was dated but clean. Ok I can live with that. All we planned on doing in the room is bathing, sleeping and me, working on my laptop at night anyway.

Well we got there to check in and the guy was sleeping lol. No biggie. I was with my daughter and we landed the king suite which ended up actually being a sex suite fully equipped with mirrors on the the ceiling. Maybe I should have realized that oops whatever. I could really care about any of that but,

The WIFI didn't work requiring me to have to contact my clients and tell them I'd have to postpone some things. The jacuzzi tub didn't work, the sauna didn't work, no fridge or microwave or coffee maker in the "suite". It smells of smoke and Lysol.

Forget that it looks like the Hotel in American Horror story, it is gross and unclean. Especially the bathrooms which are full of hard water stains and rusted fixtures. The walls and doorknobs are nasty.

If you're going to party and nothing more, it's probably fine. But if you actually were hoping to get what you're paying for, then believe the reviews. They're all true!
