Very convenient venue for business meetings in the middle of 'nowhere'
Olivier Oon 26/03/2017 18:35Was there for the first time to run and facilitate a 150 persons conference for a client, who had chosen the venue.
This Chateauform (a great all-in formula for business) is located in the middle of nowhere, in the picturesque provincial town of Belle Eglise, about 45 minutes by direct train form Paris Gare du Nord.
Welcome is typical Chateauform: friendly, generous and efficient.
Rooms are quite spacious, clean and very well for a short stay, with all the amenities you need.
The meals are very generous, almost non stop and with a large choice.
The sports and leasure infrastructure is great.
And what makes this place so special, apart from the service and friendliness of the staff, is the surrounding park/nature and the little castle where you can go for drinks, relax, meet, ...
The technical facilities in the meeting room are up to professinal expectations, and worked very well for me and my colleagues.
Happy that the client has booked this venue for some more conferences this year.

Pieter Von 16/11/2016 16:26I was a guest in this hotel when an international company of collegues met here for 3 days of training, workshops and presentations. We were heartly welcomed by the staff who explained all the extra 'goodies' of this Chateauform'. In the old chateau there is a leisure area with arcade games, air hockey, pool table, kicker table, bars,... I even had the chance, before apero, to try out the pool: it was much larger than I expected, with also a hammam, sauna and fitness area. The quiet surroundings are ideal for a light stroll after a 3-course lunch. This was really a very fine experience and made our work time verry pleasant.

Entering the hotel is like entering a big house. The atmosphere is friendly and generous. The food is delicious and fine. The hotel service is friendly and swift. The environment is inviting and scenic. The bedroom quiet and clean.

Not really a hotel but a conference venue
Rob Mon 16/05/2016 18:48None of the rooms are in the Chateau. They are modern hotel boxes in a wing attached to the Chateau itself. None of the rooms come with the amenities expected of a modern hotel, such as TV, or mini-bar/fridge. Having said that the rooms are clean although nondescript. For a conference, where all you want is a bed for the night, and a place to shower in the morning the rooms are fine. Don't think you are getting an hotel experience in the middle of the French countryside. The food served for guests is adequate, but hardly ground breaking or exciting in any way. As with most conference facilitates its a take it or leave it dinner in the evening, and buffet at lunch.
I would describe the place as average. The good points, and a great free wifi throughout the establishment, and a good pool and spa.
