What People are saying

1st time in Tenerife

Paul Gon 31/07/2017 12:53

We were happy to stay outside of the main resorts and bus (1;45euros) & taxi (7-8 euros) gets you into los christianos which was for us ok. ( I would have liked to be able to cycle but up the hill to the hotel on the busy road- i would suggest that is a no-no).
we rented a 1 bed apartment on a b & b basis for 11 nights. We were very happy with the room which was well stocked kitchen gear wise and nicely laid out and clean. DId not pay for the internet on the room but did rent a safe(for me it's a peace of mind thing).
breakfast buffet style with the usual stuff and perfectly adequate for our need.If you are in a large party, you might want to give them a heads -up that you are coming if you have not pre-paid.
Little shop -ok for bits.
Swimming pool, very nice pool, sun beds better than your standard white plastic.
Bar- ok - 2 happy hours a day- handy when you might need to go to the bar to access the internet.Prices ok and pleasant service.
the only thing i would say is not much play areas for kids- despite pool rules saying " no ball games" inevitably with only part time life guard(4 days a week i think) this became an issue on our stay where there was an almighty row between an irish family and some italians one day across the pool but it was the issue the previous day as well and the day after(and this wasn't peak season).if you allow people to kick a ball form one side of the pool to the other, don't be surprised when it goes off course and hits other people. The management need to deal with this issue better, rather than abdication as it seemed.( what's the point having the rule on a board if you don't enforce it).
Summary - enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay again but i do feel that "pool management" has to be improved

WORST PLACE EVER...AVOID!!!

gw852017on 21/07/2017 14:23

Arrived to a staff of one, was given a scrappy map of how to get to my room. Finally found my room up 6 flights of stairs with no lighting and with my four very young children including a baby and a buggy and all my luggage with no lift and no offer of help. Got into the room and at very best on a good day cheap hostel looking accommodation with ripped curtains, broken bed, broken floor tiles, broken phone, broken shutter, broken sofa chair, ripped sofa bed, dodgy electrics, no locks on balcony doors....the list goes on.
As for the "lady" that dealt with me in the morning (Louise) standing in reception with my kids suggested it was best if I just left and asked me to remove my luggage from the room. I would hope this review is enough to discourage people booking here, it is a horrible place run by horrible people...AVOID!!!!

Amazing Villas!

What a great place to stay during our visit to Tenerife. The staff was so kind and welcoming, especially Isabella. The on-site restaurant was delicious and had a very friendly staff. Each morning was greeted by a spectacular view from our bedroom balcony. We had so much space to relax in with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Many hours were spent in our private pool and on one occasion we even fired-up the bbq pit. I highly recommend staying here!!

Great apartments

First of all location It's a bit out of the way but if it was down in Los christianos ud be paying alot more On the plus side regular bus service outside hotel and only 8 euro in taxi from Los cris.
Apartment was really good size and imaculate. One of the best pools I've been in and I've been in a fair few. Nice wee bar although didn't sample evening entertainment. Breakfast really good . Bar food good and reasonable price.
Try La Finca restaurant which is only 2 minutes walk from complex.
Finally staff really friendly and always smiling .
First holiday in tenerife Would go back to chayofa again for my second holiday in tenerife

First time in Tenerife

Although I have no complaint with the resort itself, I would like to make future visitors aware of security issues and express my disappointment in the attitude of management. Several items of my property (both of monetary and sentimental value) went 'missing' from our apartment whilst we were out on 4 April '17. There was no sign of any break-in! When this was reported to the female manager, she assured us that cleaning staff had not been in the room that day. This was indeed the case. However, the bin had been emptied and she informed us that someone else empties the bins. Whilst I cannot accuse staff of taking my property, the manager refused to contemplate that her staff could have been involved, even though she knew there had been no forced entry. When we informed her that we had reported the incident to the police she once again insisted that her staff could not have been involved. In light of the fact that there was no break-in and the items were of significant value, I would have at least expected those who had access to the room to be questioned about this. The lack of assistance spoiled an otherwise enjoyable holiday, having had higher expectations of the service provided. I would like to praise Katie and Lisa who worked the restaurant and bar, both friendly, professional and helpful.
