Fantastic B&B with excellent hosts

We stayed at Mike & Lou's house for a long weekend break and loved it! Great location close to the seafront and town but still quiet - bar the seagulls :-)

The room was clean, tidy and perfectly decorated in keeping with the rest of their house which just smelled amazing (you'll see what I mean when you stay there). Breakfast time was relaxed with plenty to choose from the continental style options available.

Mike and Lou were the perfect hosts, always offering to help with any question or query. Mike even find out the name of a pasty shop in Bude for me!

Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Excellent b & b very homely

I loved this b & b it was so homely. Mike and Louise were so friendly and went out of there way to be helpful providing lots of useful information about the area. The b & b is in a fantastic location, very central for everything. I loved the breakfast, everything was organic and a good choice of products. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean and comfortable. I am hoping to visit Newquay again and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Thank you Mike and Louise for a great stay. Karen

A planet-friendly paradise.

I cannot speak more highly of Mike, Lou and their beautiful girls. Having a 10 week old baby, hostel accommodation was out of the question, hotels were too expensive, and we struggled to find a B&B that would allow a cot. Mike and Lou were more than accommodating, providing a travel cot for us and supporting our stay rather than making us feel like the burden we had felt when contacting other B&Bs.

Their beautifully spiritual, bohemian home provides plenty of room for all guests, is clean and tidy, and located right in the centre of town within a stones throw of the shops and beaches.

Being a conservationist, it was the lodge's eco-friendly agenda that personally attracted me to it, using responsibly sourced, organic produce for the continental breakfast, actively composting and recycling, and using plant-based cleaning products to reduce the amount of toxic chemicals entering the surrounding ocean. Even if you aren't hugely eco-conscious, you can take pride in the fact that your stay has not been at the detriment of the environment.

Overall a perfect stay; clean, comfortable room, tasty breakfast and helpful, friendly hosts. Our only accommodation choice for future holidays!

Comfortable room and lovely relaxed atmosphere

Ideally located B & B, very close to the beach and town centre but on a side street with very little traffic/pedestrians. Nice clean room with a very comfy bed and a ensuite bathroom. Mike and Lou were really friendly and helpful. Mike even picked me up from the airport. If I were to ever come back to Newquay I'd have no hesitation in staying here again.

Lovely and Relaxing

A lovely bedroom, nicely decorated and very relaxing! The room was very clean, breakfast included and at a very central location! The host Mike has been very kind and friendly to us!
I would definitely recommend this room for your gateway! Me and my partner went down to Newquay for a 4 day trip and we found Green Deep Lodge to be the perfect accommodation for the occasion!
