Not at all value for money
Saikatbabaion 16/07/2017 11:50We were pre-booked super deluxe room Cherry resort for our stay on 30th October-2016. But we did not liked the place.
Rooms are huge but not good. In one room telephone was not working. We looked for another one. There phone was okay but dustbin was not present and geyser was not working. Most frustratingly, the front desk persons do not have proper knowledge of witch one is super deluxe and witch one is of some other category. It took us 45 minutes to get a room with at least basic things working. But we were paying Rs 3000/- for this for one night stay...!!!
In the lounge we have seen photos of CM, Governor of Sikkim, PM and President of India. We did not understand why those were there. The place clearly has a typical government touch. Overall - a mess.
We had Chinese food in dinner and food was awesome.
I would recommend to stay rather at Ravangla and have a visit to Temi Tea Garden. No need to stay at Cherry Resort.
Cherry Resort – as magical as it can get
Pragyak17on 27/06/2017 13:29We stayed in Cherry Resort in Temi Tea Estate, Sikkim for a day. The location is just magical – 360 degrees views of the mountains, a vast expanse of the green tea plantation as far as the eyes can see, and the Teesta River gorge below. The cool, pleasant weather made our walk very comfortable though a bit of sun would have made more visible the snow-clad peaks of the Kunchenjunga mountains. The resort is more of a homestay and is idyllically located on top of the hill, commanding surreal surrounds of the mountains, river, plantation and a few villages that house the employees than work on the estate. The rooms are spacious, with private balconies to take advantage of the views. The staff is courteous and helpful and there is also a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner on order. There is also a massive terrace, again, to allow guests to take advantage of the views. It’s a great place to just relax, soak up the mountains and breathe in the crisp, fresh air.
Location to blow one's mind but pathetic services

1. Stunning views of the sprawling Temi tea estate in South Sikkim, so much that it nearly consumes you!
2.The vast blue sky and lush green carpets on tea gardens up and down the slopes are a sight to behold.
Cons:
1. Dirty rooms
2. Dirty balcony
3. No food available on
4. No kettle, no tea/coffee in room facility and on calling there is rarely an answer most of which does not help
5. Dinner order has to be placed 3 hours in advance. Evening snack options limited to French fries and paneer pakodas. No other snack any other time
6. Dining area full of flies
7. No morning tea available until 8.30am. No reply on calling the kitchen or reception by phone for this
8. Breakfast available only after 8.30am by which time most tourists start venturing out
9. Common washroom in reception area doesn't have water, neither do some of the wash basins
10. Poorly staffed
11. Shabby and lethargic Manager
Considering that there are no markets or eateries nearby as it is a remote location, they should be well equipped especially with food options.
Unfortunately very poorly maintained, almost shocking. Would not visit again.
Amazing Location but POOR SERVICE
RITESH Gon 17/06/2017 08:11It is situated with surrounding of Temi Tea Garden. No one is available at the Front Desk while we are checking out. We have to bring down our luggage back from Rooms. Food service was pathetic. They take the orders in advance and serve after one hour..

Nice location but bad service
on 13/06/2017 16:38Me and my family stayed in this resort from 4th to 6th June. They have got excellent location sorrounding with Temi tea gardens. But the worst part is they don't have enough staffs in the hotel. The hotel maintenance is poor and need to improve. Their room service is really poor and they have very limited food menus. Near by the hotel there are no resturant so you have to eat in the hotel itself inspite of the bad food quality.
If you are nature loving person then only you can stay here otherwise please avoide.
