We stayed here for 3 nights,On arrival the hotel looks lovely up a narrow street through the charming village,We had booked a double but were given a twin(why book?) and the room was nice, the swimming pool was a godsend as the weather went up to 90%,
The only gripes we had was we asked for a coffee but the young lady didn't no how to make one, also the food was the same food for the 3 nights we were there and the breakfast was the same which became boring,we were told this was because we arrived out of season(September)so why say they have a restaurant and the food was pretty boring as when you hear the microwave ping,
wonderful time, Back in TIME

My Bedroom was nice and clean, The bed GREAT..The breakfast was all home made country priducts, Youget, milk, bread marmelade,,jams, all made at the Hotel,,,Little bar too with good wines from the local area, its a farming area in the middle if nowhere, GREAT away from the madness. I would go again World Traveller. Terence Dollman Sweden. Thanks ISAURA,Big HUG.

Wonderful, peaceful and romantic place. The view from our room in the front of the house was amazing; I do not think any room would give a poor view in light of the location.
The welcome was warm and friendly. The manager/reception lady spoke very good English, she was informative and helpful.
The first night we were the only people in the hotel but still they cooked a 3 course meal, with wine and coffee.
The soup was delicious!
The rooms were very clean and spacious, bathroom well equipped.
The grounds did appear a little tired and in need of some attention but this did not mar the stay.
The room was 50e and both nights food, drinks was a set price of 30e
Good value, lovely place to stay I would love to go back.
The village was beautiful.
Beautiful setting, hotel looking sad

The hotel is situated in a beautiful, quant rural village. The surroundings are quiet, with sheep bells clearly audible nearby. The rooms are comfortable, but not particularly large and the bathrooms have been renovated. The continental breakfast is average. The reception staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds of the hotel, which are quite large, are fairly neglected. The exterior of the hotel building needs maintenance.
Wonderful place

We arrived late in the evening (outside of dinner time) and still the hotel was glad to get something for us. Delicious home made cooking, with a good local wine. The location is really good for a relaxed weekend, and there is plenty to see and do in the surroundings. It is a highly recommended place to stay in a trip to this part of Portugal
