Amy Mon 10/07/2017 17:00This was our third stop in japan and by far pur favourite hotel. The room is huge for japan and was extreamly comfortable. Recently renovated, the room is beautifully designed and has one of the best beds i have slept in. Breakfast was good though not a buffet and may not suit picky eaters. Only negatives was the location, its a little out of the way but it has a entrance to the subway right next door so its not a huge problem at all. With the quality you get its worth being tucked out the way

Exceptional value
Daniel_HK097on 09/07/2017 12:04I stayed at the standard room for two nights in this newly refurbished hotel. I would say that Cordia offers exceptional value for the price I paid for. Would definitely return.
Location: 15 seconds walk from the Higobashi subway (blue line) exit 5A or 5 mins walk to Yodoyabashi subway (red line). A good base to travel around Osaka City and even Kyoto via the Keihan railway.
The hotel is located in a business district...but there are a lot of local restaurants, cafes, and convenience around the hotel.There is a cafe at the ground level of the hotel (the place for breakfast) anyway.
Hotel: The exterior and interior of the hotels are quite different. The interior is industrial, chic, concrete and yet warm. There is no sitting around in the lobby. Just the reception and a self-serve coffee/tea corner.
The only complaint is about the single lift for 8 floor (around 80 rooms). So you could expect a bit of waiting time but still acceptable.
Room: good-size room which is around 18 sqm (based on the hotel website), plenty of room for luggage, separate wash basin and toilet/shower area, plenty of table area to put your stuff, quite air con, great overhead shower, comfy bed, and mostly important wooden flooring. Free bottled water is provided every day. Good sound proof.
The only complaint (again) is that the door does not fit in very well...just too hard to pull it for my room 409.
Service: The guy who helped me check-in seems not able to speak English well, but the check-in was still efficient. Check-out was like a breezy.
A good choice if u are looking for hotels not located in the shopping/tourist area and yet very convenient.
Classy Corner Hotel
chiechayon 17/06/2017 06:42We unexpectedly moved out of our Abnb because it was below standard and found this Hotel online. The location is in the quiet area of Higobashi and literally about less than forty steps to the Higobashi Stn. 5A exit.
We are still thankful for this serendipitous find. It is very brand new and hip. Everything was spot on, from the decorations to the solid wood sliding door to the pajama wear for the guests. Not to mention their fluffy comforter.
stylishly remodeled hotel
wellyontouron 14/04/2017 01:44Centrally located hotel that was refurbished in February 2017, so it feels completely new. Two minor annoyances are that it has one elevator and is popular with tour groups so getting to and from your room on an upper floor can be difficult when they arrive or depart, and the curtains are thin and don't block out the large flashing neon sign opposite the hotel. Otherwise this place is great. 4-5 minute walk to Yodayabashi metro which is 4 stops from Shin-Osaka station, use the Odona Mall exit if you have luggage as this has up and down escalators.

Arthur Ton 15/03/2017 03:35This place was remodeled in February 2017 so everything in new and modern. The beds have nice fluffy comforts. Love the nice shower and automatic toilets. Got a great price thru the internet. I couldn't go wrong for the price Highly recommended!!
