Wonderful stay nice place

As I visited first week of July with my family. It was lovely place , staff was so friendly. We enjoyed traditional Rajasthani food , really it was so tasty .I will suggest to my friends and family members for visit Chokhi Dhani place . Thanks

Short but frustrating

Specific negatives:
The toilet didn't flush.
Reception were not answering phone when called from our room.
We paid for 4/5 star hotel but reception staff and other staff cannot speak or understand much English, which made speaking/ comprehension difficult and lead to issues with our breakfast order and check out.
For example, the room had three different breakfast menu's on offer and we weren't sure which one was included in our room rate for free (dift. prices), so we asked staff at the restaurant for a menu. The staff couldn't understand our enquiry and we waited 10 minutes before asking someone else who said there was no menu. However, the original waiter later came back with a different menu option to order from. This process was slow and confusing.
Checkout took over 30 minutes because the hotel's card machine does not accept international cards and the reception staff needed to contact their head office for authorisation. The hotel staff did not originally explain their head office requirements because they cannot speak/ understand much English. We kept being told "5 minutes".
We asked to get our feedback form back after this (we had left it in the room), as we wanted to note further issues. However, it was no longer there and hotel staff had to receive a translation from our driver to figure out what we wanted.
Hotel was fairly vacant, so lights in central dining room and downstairs in restaurant area were either off or dim, making the hotel feel closed.

Overall, every staff interaction was too long and difficult to make the stay enjoyable.

Specific positives:
Room and hotel were clean.
Room was large.

Neither positive or negative but something of note, the hotel is about 4.6km from Jaisalmer fort.

A nice place to stay

Ideally located and not far from the important places the Hotel has everything to make it the top hotel in Jaisalmer. Nicely done up and maintained rooms,a small splash pool , a small Gym and a decent restaurant.The furniture goes well with the surrounding and gives it a royal look.However service of the staff needs improvement.

NICE STAY

I stayed here for 1 N with my wife in April 2017. Our experience was very good. good room service. Due to off season there was not so much rush, result in food were provided in room itself.Reception area was clean. Overall good to stay here too. Small pool is there. Room was spacious.

Good property ; Poor maintenance

The hotel is located 4 kms from the city and the location is remote. The property is very good with spacious lanes, great room size, swimming pool and basic amenities. The let downs are the poor maintenance of these assets. Broken bath room locks, non working flush, poor room service, inexperienced waiters at restaurant etc. The food quality is decent.
