What People are saying

A wonderful hide-away hotel

LVOGon 11/06/2017 17:27

We spend a week at this small and wonderful hide-away hotel. The view from the hotel room, the pool and the restaurant was amazing. We enjoyed the company of the owner Tolis and the great cook Aspa who spoiled us with great food, coffee and cakes the whole week. This is a hotel that focus on high quality and all the best for the guests.

Relaxing paradise

Just returned from a short break. Rolls and Aspra were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. 16 luxury studios and suites (suites type A slightly bigger with larger balconies than type B). Studios slightly smaller but still big enough for 2. We were in a type B with side sea view. 2 sets of doors entering extra long balcony. Brand new bathroom with gorgeous shower. Bedroom good size with plenty of storage. Lounge area turned into 2 beds. Fair size kitchenette with plenty of cooking equipment. Very well furnished throughout and extremely comfortable. Fitted mosquito nets on the doors meant we could have a decent airflow without using the aircon. Room was very quiet.
Well stocked bar and attractive restaurant. Aspra is a very good cook and prepares fabulous evening meals from fresh local produce. You can often smell her making cakes in the afternoon. Breakfast is typical continental with good coffee. The real gem here is the 6sq km of well kept gardens, housing the kidney shape pool and sunbed area. All extremely clean and comfortable. The gated area at the back leads you straight into the Sandy beach, which is very quiet. You can wade out for 50 or so metres and still be ankle deep! Perfect for kids. There are also a couple of tavernas along the beach.
Everything about this place breathes quality and comfort - all put together by Tollis. Good job! We'll definitely be back! Would like to post more images but app keeps crashing more than 2.

Nice Small Place

First of all, it is small place - which is great! Nice spacious rooms and apartments with great terraces. Nice pool and nice sandy beach. Good service. Slightly limited choice of meals and drinks in the taverna but most of them are homemade. Only the breakfast almost ruins the things - extremely poor - literally: ham, cheese, butter, cornflakes and filter coffee, and nothing more. And the bar opens at 1 p.m. I'd give 5 of 5 otherwise....

A hidden paradise

Wonderful scenery, beach is great for small children as it is sandy, the water is clear and not deep at all, this side of the island does not have many waves. Kassiopi is 10 minutes by car. A rocky beach good for snorkeling is 5 min by car towards Kassiopi.
The property is clean, has good sized comfy apartments and Aspazia is cooking very good food, (but keep in mind that you have to order at least several hours in advance so she can purchase the ingredients). The host, Tolis, an ex greek actor, is nice and merry, always ready to help. The breakfast was not very diverse, but I am sure they will improve in this aspect. Anyways, there is a fridge in every apartment so anybody can buy their prefered food (as we did) from Kassiopi.

Fantastic Stay, wonderful hosts

We stayed for a week at Chrismos Luxury Suites & Studios, and we had a fantastic time.

We were actually let down by a hotel further along the coast, and they had to help us source a replacement. The first hotel they offered did not look at all nice, but when this came up it looked like the place that we wanted to stay, and we were not wrong.

It is a beautiful hotel, the owners are simply outstanding (from mainland Greece, they will do anything for you), the pool is nice, WIFI is available all over and is free, the hotel has a gate directly onto the beach, there are sunbeds available for free both next to the pool and next to the sea exclusively for residents, full selection of food and drinks at the bar and tavernas if you fancy elsewhere, all really out standing

There are a few notes of caution when staying here, note that none of these issues are the fault of the hotel or their fantastic owners;
• There are not shops within walking distance of the hotel, though there are three nice tavernas close by. We could not drive, so we had to catch buses to get everywhere, which ran regularly throughout the day (bus timetable is easy to figure out, and you can get all across the north of the island for very little price). This point is invalid if you are able to rent a car, but BEWARE OTHER DRIVERS, they are some of the worst drivers I think I've ever seen, overtaking around blind corners etc.

• Mosquitos!!! We each got bit around 50 times over the course of the holiday, most of which were while we slept, the buggers are hard to keep off you.

• You genuinely have to walk out around 100 meters into the sea before it even comes up to your waist. No exaggeration, we have photos of us looking like we are able to walk on water because we are so far out. This is obviously great if you have young children, but we don't and some times you do want to swim whilst being able to keep an eye on your possessions!

All in all, fantastic stay, would definitely go back.
