638anon123on 02/07/2017 23:51We stayed during their slow season for our honeymoon and it was exactly what we were looking for. Slow nights with breathtaking views of the sunset were common. We had a tropical bath and massage at the Sisley spa. Both I absolutely recommend. Actually I think you'd be missing out if you didn't do each of those at the hotel. Wonderful place that we can't wait to return to.

caribbeanqueen913on 24/06/2017 20:16When I received an email a week before our arrival explaining there was construction in progress behind the property, I immediately started looking for other properties and was having trouble finding a replacement that would meet our needs at the same level of pricing, so we ended up staying with our reservation at The Christopher, and I'm so glad we did because we found the noise to be a non-issue. Each day, after our morning routine of hitting the gym (small, but adequate and clean) followed by breakfast, we hopped in our little Kia (breakfast and car rental was part of the package) and after a stop at the well equipped market in Saline, we explored the many beautiful beaches, not returning to the resort until after construction was done for the day. We were celebrating our 35th anniversary and Christophe and his staff were amazing! We arrived to a chilled bottle of champagne and cookies in our room, and then on the day of our anniversary after returning from our sunset couples massage, we were surprised to see a candlelit room and rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed with the tub filled with flowers! They truly understand the meaning of customer service!! Unlike other French West Indies resorts we've stayed, every resident on the island that we met were so friendly -- no pretentiousness like Anguilla. There were three staff members that were absolutely superb -- Steven (the valet), Anaise, and Lucine. Lucine, in particular, personally assisted us with an unfortunate personal matter that I'm sure would never have been resolved without her help. Christophe personally greeted us at arrival and the entire staff made sure to tend to all of our needs. The only perk that didn't make this resort absolutely perfect was that it lacked morning yoga daily like most other 4 and 5 star resorts. Ironically, the day we checked out, they were offering complimentary yoga at sunset. This island is definitely pricier than others in the Caribbean, but the beauty, cuisine, and beaches make it A MUST, especially to celebrate a special occasion.
The best Hotel in St. Barths
Laura Jon 21/06/2017 21:25I had never been to St. Barths. However, I did my research online. Once there we visited many other hotels just to see so when we return we would have a better idea. After visiting them I would choose Hotel Christopher again and again. To me it is hands down the best! We were not looking for a place with a lot of children, we wanted amazing views, not too many guests and fabulous food. Not too far from town either. Ive went for a week for our anniversary, will return and tell friends!
Will always come back
Mariemma Don 21/06/2017 19:50I stay here every year when I go to St. Barth. It is a private, tranquil boutique hotel. The service is exceptional- friendly and down to earth; not haughty. The rooms are spacious and comfortable- the food both at the bar and the "pool" are a REALLY good. Its a tranquil spot for those who want to go to St. Barth and enjoy the seclusion.
