Excellent location, good value and an unexpected delight tucked away on the 1st floor of a rather inconspicuous building. Definitely recommend this lovely intimate boutique hotel for a few nights away in Rome. The 'Emerald' room we stayed in had good facilities, was very clean, except for a very leaky, rather dirty shower room which has seen better days. Reception is a desk in the hallway so it can be a little noisey and a little offputting as it is located just outside the door of three of the rooms. We loved the outside seating area, very relaxing and really felt like we were part of a Roman neighbourhood. The gentleman at the helm seemed nice and very helpful.
Wifi was okay, had to disconnect some devices to increase speed.
We didn't partake in breakfast so can't comment on what it was like. Supermarkets and restaurants in walking distance though.

Good location and rooms

You really can't beat the spot, particularly if you're only in Rome for a couple of nights - right by Termini train station, metro, and a quick walk to the major ancient sites at the Forum. It's quite roomy for a European hotel, and it's clean. However, I was there five years ago as well and it's declined a little, not sure I would stay again. The staff were not very knowledgeable or helpful for a tourist looking to do things in the city, but you get what you pay for. For the price it's a very good deal.

Great stay

Stayed here for 3 nights. Good value for money, good location and clean. Some helpful but odd things when cleaning our room they moved our dirty clothes from a small plastic bag which was overflowing to a big bin bag. Helpful but perhaps better I'd they just left the bag. We also had a bag which we were using as a bin to keep room clean but had 1/2 receipts I needed. This bag was taken each day although it was a h&m paper clothes bag. Helpful but I actually needed one of the receipts and hadn't told anyone to take the bag. People running are polite and helpful, offering us an umbrella and allowing us to leave our bags but it's not a hotel just a B&B.

Great hotel great value

Great service at very good prices. Very good location with comfortable rooms I would recommend staying here you will struggle to find better for this price. The staff are very helpful the rooms are modern with everything you need.

Great modern feel, close to center of Rome

The rooms in this hotel (more like a set of apartments on one floor of a building), were great value for money - the room was modern and clean, breakfast was just the right amount, and the location was amazing (only around 10 minutes walk to the Colosseum and Termini station).

Our room was facing a main road but the noise didn't really bother us too much - the sound is mostly blocked out, other than the occasional loud ambulance. The aircon worked perfectly too.

Breakfast was better than expected after reading the other reviews here - you definitely get plenty to eat (unless you're expecting a full English...): some cheese and ham toasties, plain toast with various jams, and fresh croissants. You can also help yourself to juice, cereal, biscuits, yogurt, fruit etc.

One downside was the shower - unlike others, we didn't find it went randomly from cold to hot, it was just very difficult to find the right balance and the doors didn't shut properly so a lot of water leaked onto the floor. The only other downside was the WiFi, which was very intermittent.

Overall, we thought it was good value for money and I would consider staying here if I came to Rome again
