FrequentFlyer123on 11/06/2017 14:33This was a wonderful place to stay for 2 nights on our cycling trip from Carcasonne to Sete. The chateau and it's gardens and pool are beautiful and our room was spacious and comfortable. We so enjoyed our 2 dinners (one inside in the dining room and one, during perfect weather, in the garden) with delicious set menus featuring local produce and wines. The breakfasts were equally great. A standout feature was the charming host, Monsieur Gerrard, who was most engaging and helpful, and the other staff. Chateau Siran has an air of slight formality which added to this memorable experience.
Beautiful chateau - great host
Vicki Son 04/06/2017 19:19We were lucky to have 2 nights at this lovely chateau on our 8 night bike ride from Toulouse to Sete along the canal du midi. Siran is a bit away from the canal but well worth the detour to stay at Chateau de Siran.
Host Gerard was charming and very helpful , especially with our group of 6 with a number of dietary requirements (incl gluten free and vegetarian). We ate both nights at the Chateau and the food and service were all excellent - thanks so much to the chef also (didn't get her name).
Elegant and charming hotel in a quiet and beautiful landscape
606barbaraon 03/06/2017 21:54This is a gem of a place set in an old chateau overlooking a park with olive trees and vineyards.The birdsong and frogs sing in a pretty garden where you can drink cocktails on the terrace.Dinner was a delight and we were accommodated despite us not having booked a table.There were artichoke hearts with marmalade ,duck breasts with sour cherries and a chocolate desert all of which were delicious.We were offered and accepted the chance to taste local wines and goats cheeses .our bedroom was spacious and quiet and the stone walls kept the room cool so we didn't use the air conditioning.

The owner Gerard is the perfect host and the chef and other staff are very friendly.
We stayed for two nights and had a set menu for both nights which was superb.
Our group had extraordinary dietary requirements which they catered for easily with no problems and it was delicious .
This place is a gem and the junior suites are luxurious .
We would love to come back here next time in France .
Quiet elegance
MarkRWilliamson 18/10/2016 08:26Chateau de Siran is ideal for couples or a small group of friends to stay. Large comfortable rooms, many with balconies. A swimming pool and gardens make it ideal after a walk through the vines in the Minervois region. The host is a great Chef and the food is very good modern French.
