What People are saying

Worst experience in my life

vera_mizovaon 11/11/2016 22:56

DO NOT STAY THERE!!! This is the worst experience I have ever had! The hosts are really impolite, the room is awful, there is no toilet seat on the toilet!!!! They refused a refund and promised they will fix it - this did not happen!!! The breakfast included in the price is not a breakfast at all, you will die hungry if you count on that. The hot water is enough for a 3 minute shower - not more. Do not ever book this place - stay away!

Worst experience of my life

This is not a bed and breakfast firstly, it is half a bed and a stale biscuit, as the bed was collapsed COMPLETELY on one side and the breakfast is dried packet biscuits (very much doubt they are refilled). The whole of our experience with this 'B&B' was hideous, firstly we were called 8 times in the taxi from the airport, being told different information about where we were actually staying each time, (my friend had to stop answering to avoid more expense), we arrive and are shouted at. When we get through the door we are constantly harassed for the money, with no chance to even inspect our room or drop in our bags, card payment WAS NOT ACCEPTED despite there being card machines, and what we were told online (so beware if you want to pay by card) we were then charged tax for three people despite the booking ALWAYS being for two, and online stating it was included in the price of which was €30 we were charged €52. Even after being charged for an extra person we were over charged again!!!! We are then promptly left with no explanation of how to use keys, or how anything worked. This was all before we got into the room that had lighters and fag butts in it (we are both asthmatic), then we try to sit down (not on the bed as the slats had gone on one side) not on the chair either as it had 2 large burns through it. So I head to the toilet (with my phone light on) as there was no working light. Imagine how bad the mould was for me to identify it with a phone light before I even reached the toilet. At this point we reach out several times to multiple numbers to try and resolve our issues, we are ignored for over an hour. We decide to get out of the room, and unwind However, we are forced to re think as our room door does not lock!! We attach and lock our valuables to the bed in our suitcase with our own locks. My friend was distraught throughout our day out and could not relax, we agreed to meet the lady and resolve our issues so that we could at least sleep in the bed, we rushed back from our tour and waited for just under 2 hours for her with no response or contact. This is the final straw, and we decide that in order to relax and enjoy this holiday we must find another room. We have tried to contact and resolve these issues (as we still have the key) we have been ignored and avoided, not only that but we have been back to the B&B several times to speak to the owner and return the keys however, days after we left with no contact with us she re-sold our room (we still had access to the room making this incredibly unsafe for the new tenants), the couple and us should have been made aware of this, as the locks were the same and the room technically still ours. You expect some compromise, you get what you paid for etc however, we paid a good price for a good experience neither bottom budget nor ostentatious, the hotel we have just moved too has more than met expectations, a beautiful lobby, all the required facilities, the bathrooms and rooms are spotless and functioning, for less money than the original place!! which is when you start to realise there is getting what you pay for and people who are literally trying to dupe you out of your money.

Worst place in Italy

Kamil Żon 24/06/2016 11:25

Me and my fiancee were travelling through Italy (10city, as many hotels). This was the worst experience I've ever had in my life (not narrowing it to Italy). First of all, there is like no sign where the so called "Cialdini Inn" is. Neighborhood was shady and tbh during the night it was a little bit of terrifying. Due to manager (some lady), we were forced to stay 3 hours on the stairs of some random building in Rome because for some ridiculous reason the guy with the key couldn't travel through Rome. Than we were moved for one night to some hostel, where in theory everything was handled by the lady-manager. We didn't get the full address of the hotel and once again we had to talk with lady about the details (and that definitely is not something nice, since she's trying to avoid letting you say a single word). In other hotel due to extremely helpful lady at the reception we were able to stay for a night (however lady-manager didn't handle anything there, we were forced to wait another hour for this to be handled, we were even asked to pay for that night extra....).
Next day we moved to proper location which wasn't really clean, the hot water is only for 2 minutes. Doors liked to stuck and closing anything was extremely load. The signs on the door to do not open to anyone, even the police are also "nice" addition to all of that. Bed was bad, but this still was the best feature in whole place.
To add insult to injury, the so-called "free wifi" is at the reception, which is in next building across the street to which you don't have any keys (finding unicorn is easier than finding someone working there). No one speaks English and there are signs that informs you about it (probably that you cannot complain to people working there).

If I can give like one advice I would advice to avoid this place as much as possible. Except close location to the Termini station there is no single thing I've liked about this place. And sitting for 3 hours at stairways in some random building in shady area of Rome is not something that I wanted to repeat

A bad bad dream....

The only good thing is that the complex is just across the street from Termini where the bus from both of Rome's airports stop and were also the trains for the rest of the country start their journey. The neighborhood is safe but the all day and all night thousand travelers walk through the place. The small mall in the station is pretty good and also the cafes and diners offer good products. Don't even approach the mini malls that are situated on the Station street, the prices are rocket high. Oh yes, I forgot the apartment. So bad I can even think about it. Dirty, dirty, dirty. They should not rent places like this, it's a pity for people who have to stay there. Don't even pass from outside.

Horrific, illegal, non-responsive

One of the most unpleasant stays ever, Kafkaesque even: the reception is non-existent, we saw it upon arrival, were taken to another building to stay and had no access to reception AND wifi throughout the whole 5-night stay. The guy does not speak English and doesn't bother to appear nice. The kitchen is dirty and the cleaner smokes there. We found blood stains on the bed. Towels ad sheets are not changed every 3 days. All this we were able to bear, but..
THE LOCKS ARE BAD AND GET STUCK! From the first night we noticed that the lock to our room has its character, sometimes we had to try and shuffle the key for a bit. The main entrance also proved to be special. On the last night guys from another room we not able to unlock the main door. With our help from inside, we opened it - not without extra stress. Then came a horrid coincidence - we were not able to get into our room either! After some 40 minutes of fruitless attempts to unlock the door, we decided to try the reception. We managed to get into the building (some neighbors let us in) and went to the 4th floor where the reception supposedly was. Nobody opened the door, shouted in Italian and when we asked for help through the door they just yelled "no, no". A phone call was a bit more successful - some lady answered and started speaking nonsense. After some interrupting and explanation she promised to send someone over for help. No one came. We unlocked the door ourselves, through luck we managed to catch our plane home.
Still in a bit of a shock. DON'T GO THERE!!!!
